Greetings fellow colonists!
I am asking for everyone's input in order to make a useful table for miners and those wanting to start mining. There are mob charts and weapons charts, so why not something to help with mining. The equipment is pretty much taken care of, but what about the ores and enmatters? What I am hoping to accomplish is a comprehensive list of all known ores and enmatters showing the frequency (like the loot frequency in Entropedia). Using the following terms, let's all put our heads together to rate the ores and enmatters based on how frequently they are found: OFTEN COMMON UNCOMMON RARE EXTREMELY RARE We can also include minimum professional level requirements (educated guess) and which equipment would be needed for a reasonable expectation of finding a particular resourse. The recent VU could have introduced new resources that have not been posted on Entropedia. Please note that I am NOT asking for where an ore or enmatter was found... just how common they are. If this has been done already, I apologize. I did use the search function and found nothing like this in the Mining SubForum. Also, if a vast majority of people think this is rediculous I will delete this all and go about my business.  Hopefully we can come up with another guide that will assist others which is what I like most about this forum anyway.Thanks in advance! |

No comment on redulite or vesperdite. Rarity of find is related to starting_depth_of_mineral*location_of_mineral*num_ miners_location.

Are the rarity of ores and enmatter dynamic? That is to say, might Iron be more easily found in the next VU than this VU?
