Well, I had very lots of small finds around just before the VU and a bit afterwards but then it started to get well again, and, well, it's really good once again
![]() So I think it's and they didn't change anything in mining during this VU. |

But even at the last VU, I've hit two II ore finds using a 105 OA. Very rare, but it happens. So a IV with a 103 is a very likely situation, and I find a few every so often, ![]() |

Depends on the ore too.
With 103s its rare to find much less the 2.97 tt worth of ore, EXCEPT that you need to remember that it rounds down to the nearest stone. If you find 2.5 ped or 1 stone worth of kanerium with a 103, if that was lyst it would have been anywhere from 2.5 to 4.99 ped worth. Assuming tt value of a find and type of find is completely unlinked other then rounding anyway, which i believe is the case. The lowest size i think you could possibly find with a 103 would be an ore with a value of 1.5 ped per stone, and a find with a 2.97 value = 1 stone or 1.5 ped worth and a III. Im pretty sure the smallest non amped 0.01 ped/stone value claim(enmatter) ive found is 0.49. I kept detailed records of the first ~800 probes i droped, and recorded the tt value of every claim, and looking back in those records 0.49 is the smallest find for a 0.01 value enmatter(nexus or crude). Ive easily found smaller amounts when the ore size is larger, like lytarian for instance 0.38 tt worth unamped is common. Pretty sure ive never found less then a IV with a 103 for bombs. But there are certainly some ores that could be IIIs with a 103. I cant think of anything that would be a II offhand. Doing a quick check on my logs... I just checked the runs where i was sure i was using only 103s, and excluded the rest. 218x103s the smallest claims were IVs. BUT, i have NOT found all ores, there are some ores that would certainly make a III. I cant think of anything that would make a II with a 103. I cant explain a II with a 105, from everything i have seen that should not be possible with any ore size. I don't doubt its happened, ive seen stranger happen, it just goes against all my recorded data. However...it would be possible if you just swapped off a broken amp for a new one. Or you just swapped tools, with some possible update/swapping lag i could see it happening. The server doesn't think you had the amp when your client showed it on. Or it thinks you were using a different finder then your client showed, etc. |

If you read my thread, King joes mining log, you will find that I marked down all the claims I got all of this was pre VU. I have seen no change in the crappy loot system from last VU to this VU. maybe you would say I am wrong, however since I dropped 1000 probes with no profit and nothing but small finds, I think I have a leg to stand on when I say, NOTHING EVER CHANGES IN EU, only the graphics....
