Tip for new miners.

1) One important thing about making back as much as you can on your runs while mining is in the selling process. This should not be rushed because if you do rush to get your ores out then you will most certainly miss out on decent/fair mark ups.

2) Always check your ore/enmatter %'s before trading and ballpark what you should expect in the trade screen when trading to the larger traders.

As you can see below, an example of what would be a bad deal. This is a 10 ped mark up on 40 ped worth of ore. The Himi (4.54 tt) as you can see on the record sheet to the side alone is worth upward of 60 PED with markup.

So if you have to...Wait... to sell your ore/enmatters, being eco isn't just for hunters and be sure to browse around for the best paying traders. Don't just go straight for the first one that offers.

I'm pretty careful about when I post names and have done it on a number of occasions and never been in trouble for it.

I believe this to be fair because it is a real deal that went down. I didn't accept but as you can see he did and on top of that it is a fair warning to players who could take the bad end of the deal.

I have nothing against the guy but its good for new miners to know.

Also if I did block the name you should still tell by appearance.

If mods would like me to block it before too much attention, I'll have no problem with that either.

I mostly rush when I'm going to sell ores... :P but not from now on

Indeed never rush to sell your ores and if someone offers a little low you can always get them up to a figure that you are more happy with

This is my 2pecs on this.

Find a regular buyer. Talk to some of the crafter (crafter always happy to pay -2% from daily markup)

Save up your matterial until you have as least 40 peds worth of of each type before selling.

On regular basic -5% for refine material from daily markup is OK (-4% is better) to the street trader.

best way is to save until you have 50 peds TT worth then put in auction. List SB at -1 to-2% from daily and BO at +1 to 2% from daily. Most my ores and enmatter sell within 24 hours this way.

PS. if you have refine oil in small amount try to sell to the pilot. Most of them buy at 102% or 103%. Street trader only pay 101% for oil.
