Questions about Mining

I'm familiar with mining, but there are a few things that elude me. This comes after witnessing a wicked 76,000ped lysterium ATH yesterday, a friend and I jokingly made comments about how long it would take to get the lyst out. He said, perhaps 2 months ....funny, I laughed, but then explained, no no , you get a tower when it's very high , I say, very impressed with my knowledge ....but his response was, YES, I KNOW!!!! WTF?! I say...how much does a drill tower extract in a day?! He smiles (i think) and says...Uhhh, I don't know... LOL

So, this leads me to two questions, wait, three:

1. At what ped amount will a drill tower appear? 1500ped? 2000ped? More?

2. How much of the claim does the claim extract in a day?
- Does it vary with types of enmatter/ores? Or is it just ped amount?

3. How long will this dude () with the 76k ped ATH wait to reap his full reward?
- Does he have the patience not to TT the lyst (ok, not serious here, but I don't think I could wait to sell 76kped lyst in auction)

1: yes 4K

2: approx 5K /Day, sometime a little more, sometimes less

3: 76K / 5K = 15 days. If you don't show up every 24 hrs to claim the ore, it will take longer.

Tower is from 4k ped tt. If you get 3,999ped lyst you will extract it by hand

My tower (6,5k gazzu tt) gave me on the first day 4kped tt - tax (it was LA), on the second day the rest. As all the tax was taken on the first day second time was just all for me.

If the tower is on not taxed land it will take 76/4 = 19days

BTW I believe lyst will have a markup of 100% now and I believe the lucky owner of a tower will put some of it in TT or will have to sell it for much longer than 19days ..... or make tones of basic filters if he can get enough oil

Well when I got my 4546 Gazzuridite tower, it extracted about 4k ped the first day and the rest the next day. I'm not sure if it varies a lot between the size of the tower though.

It varies from time to time. I had a 5100 PED tower and it only took one day. It all came out at once. Was a little disappointing really... not that I' complaing!

why on earth would he flush 3000+ peds in markup down the tt?

Not all of the tower for sure, but can you imagine the market taking so much lyst in a short time?
If he hurries with selling it, noone will buy it. Lyst is too common to sell 4k from one person a day. No buyer will take it as well, as it would made reselling impossible for sure.
I think he will be stuck with major part of that lyst for a long time. And so some of it can end up in TT.

I am not a crafter, so I don't know all the BPs, but as far as I have crafted I saw only few low level BPs that needed lyst. OFC there are always the textures, but I don't think this will hepl much.

I think you underestimate how much lyst is actually consumed daily in the game, I'm pretty sure 4,000 ped/day is just a small drop in the bucket.

Possible. Actualy I would be happy to have some stats on this matter.
I know that market is rather.... dynamic.... I mean for a week you get over 1k iron on hof list, then for a week nothing above 500 and you think there is going to be a tower, but it doesn't come sometimes.
I think that daily we have about 5k lyst max dropping. If you calculate it and add the ATH it may be a slight overlysting of the market I think.... but as I said, I am not a crafter.
