Can you drop too many bombs on CND?

I've been mining ALOT on CND the last week or so. I'm wondering if it is possible to overmine there? Today was a good example. I had a really dry stretch, about 25% return on 800 drops. Not good at all. But in each dome I went to, there were plenty of claims being found by other people. It was very busy up there. So why wasn't I getting the claims? is this evidence of avatar based loot? Or was I just unlucky today and tomorrow I will get a big HOF?

Overall (excpet today) I think I have broken even on CND. But these dry periods drive me to the brink of sanity!!

yes you will get a huge ath just keep dropping bombs, but make sure your at the right place and make sure its the right time but pretty much forget it if you dont have at least 5k in perception

I have never been to CND, but I can say from my experiences on the planet that I get better loot when more people are on, not when everyone is sleeping. May just be me, and may be a CND thing. Who knows.

Interesting! I've had the exact opposite experience on the planet( and CND). I've had and unamped 800 PEd Angeglic, 800 PED Narcanisum, 500 PED Blausarium and an amped 5K Iron (CND) at approx 02:00 MA time. The less players the better for me it seems.

I wish it was like that for me. I play at odd hours and would love to get in on your loot action. Of course, even though I have been here 5 months, I am still a complete noob too.

You may think mining the planet is a bit of a gamble in accordance to what you find and whether you find it or not, however CND is in a league of its own in that respect.

I've had an experience at CND similar to yours, there are many people mining in the dome and getting claims but you aren't. Ive even had someone run right by me after i dropped, they did too and got a global, so it could be that they are searching at a different depth and your average search depth is dry

I think the best thing to do when you are not hitting is stop. This is sometimes hard to do though when you see others globaling like mad. There have been times when I see one person globaling and HOFing more than I have claims. It can be frustrating at times but not much you can do about it but happen to be in the right dome at the right time and hope you can clean it out before someone else does.
