Info: The 1 month mining run

It's the first time I officially create a thread like tis one.
As I think I find a way to earn a bit of Peds being just a bit smart (supposing I am ... ).

I think there is no "Real" solution to make peds regularly on EU, but I think I found a way to earn everytime... but not huge amounts...

we'll see....

To beginn the experience, I splitted my ped card. (Current money on the card - Benefits in the storage)
The 2 amounts are in PEDs.
Some Ores and enmatters aren't sold due to my crafting needs....

For the first run I had:


Ped card: 320
Storage: 0

After first run result was:

Run I

Ped card: 330
Storage: 180

After that got in a crafting run to make some enmatamp 103.
After the crafting run I had:

Ped card: 90
Storage: 180

Used the storage money to buy the bombs... so then:

Ped card: 90
Storage: 30
The splitting of the money aftter the resell of ores is as following:
Ores: Net return (total amount - auction fees) - 1 ped to the storage
Enmatter: Net retun / 2 (if amped)
Enmatter: net return - 2 peds if not amped

Run II

Result of the run:
Ped card: 180
Storage: 198

Today's run:

Run III

Ped card: 243
Storage: 249



RESULTS:
14 june: 320 peds
16 june: 492 (+ 2 enmat amps 103 to be used)


Once back at home I'll continue.

So you think that your return is worked out on the % (of deposit) left on ur card??

Returns are taken as follow:

ORES
(Total of the amount of Ores sold - auction fees ) - 1 ped
The total amount is stored in the Storage, rest is left on the PED card.


ENMATTERS

IF NOT AMPED: (Total of the amount of Ores sold - auction fees ) - 2 ped
IF AMPED: (Total of the amount of Ores sold - auction fees ) / 2
The total amount is stored in the Storage, rest is left on the PED card.

The important thing to get some return are the place where to mine in order to find good % markups rates and the way to sold them.

Well,i really start to doubt all those threads...nobody is ever loosing-so wtf ???

Are you kidding??
I lost huge amounts of PEDS in EU...
But from some days I just analyzed WHY I was loosing money.

It's quite not a science... and I'm in the beginning.
I had some good chance also (got X Niksarium - X Angelic grit and some rare ores such as rugaritz, zanderium and Vesperdite) ...

I think also once my amps will be empty, the money I can have back will be divided by 3 ...

So, this is the reason why I started this thread.
Also I've to mention that I use a MT1000 for enmatters and TK320 for Ores. Lvl 39 in prospecting and lvl 37 in surveying.

From some times now, mining is a lucrative activity (but NOT ALL THE TIME)..
I also had session with only 25% return... but those days it's going a bit better.

Also I can sell most of the ores I get for a bit more % than the official markup, so this will make the profit a bit larger and compensate the loss in mining.

Heh... if you think this, you should look up my mining results from a few months ago... I lost tons of money. Also, see Fjolla's thread. He finally got his HOF and closed the project down... but he was also down about 1300 PED even once the markup was added in to the HOF.

From my experience, though, a lot of people don't want to read mining threads where the person loses money; they don't want to hear about it. There are also a lot of "helpful" people who want to tell you that you're 'doing it wrong' even though they can't say what you're doing wrong or offer any suggestions on how to fix it... it's more "you must be doing it wrong because you consistently lose money". *shrug*

The truth of it is, skill is only a part of the equation; there is also luck - and if Fortuna is angry even Strakkan can't profit.

I see the three parts of successful mining as:

1) Skill - knowing what ores are where, which finders will best see them, and how to mine your current location effectively;

2) Luck - self-explanatory - if the deposit isn't there, the best equipment in the world isn't going to see it;

3) Market - miners live and die by the market fluctuation in resource prices; if ore A sells for 150%, mine it; if it sells for 115%, mine something else. If you get only lyst or frigulite after a few bombs, MOVE.

You said exactly what I want to say...

For the moment I haven't got any Glob or Hof's... but got some Himi, Azzurdite and ruga...
So then.. this helps... hope to get soon a little glob or even Hof... or... with the blinded luck.. a little ...

I have the whole day to decide... a glob would gave me the answer... or maybe a nice himi claim ..
