Question: Miningtrends for every single day??

Hi all fellow miners,
I was wondering if we could make a thread,where we could write down miningtrends for every day.It wouldnt mean that u should give any location,time or any other "valuable" info,but it would be nice to know if u were mining,and the
return was so crapy,that you dont wish it even to your enemy.

Why am i asking this?Because thee are many miners like me,which dont have a reasonable backgroung(read pocket) and i lost all my belongings in the last 2 days.

I know that finds are avatar based,cuz i havent mined alone the last few days,and while i was loosing my underwear,he was profiting.(Hes Ubah)
But i know too,that if there is a good day for miners like me,then it should be good for me too.

Are 2 services that already track these things. If you submit 100 claims using NRF, you will get a huge ass list from him showing 1000's of claim with detailed info for each claim.

Entropiatracker is not exact.YOu get every single day a huge uber or ath which is tracked and it always shows that its good to mine

And,not everyone is using nrf.This would be a much more exact and much faster way to get info.

Not everyone uses Entropia Forum either... Roughly only 10% max of the people who play Entropia actually come on this forum.

Your not going to be able to get people to take the time to report their mining runs here.

Just start using NRF, submit 100 claims. And you will get over 22,000 claims to look at and examine.

I think the problem with this is every day is going to be different for every avatar so tracking it daily as a whole will be useless. Yesterday was horrid for me (150 out 60 back), where the day before was pretty damn good even with one bad run (I did 3). I think the thing you need to do is track yourself and if after one run you lose like I did, go hunt or do something else and dont drop anymore bombs. I eneded up making most of what I lost on that run hunting. I keep an almost daily log to see if I can spot trends but so far no solid conclusions other than some days are good, some are bad.

Yeah, I think Lerxst is right... it is going to vary from day to day. I've had days where I was finding rares and hitting globals while people in my soc were complaining in /soc about how bad the mining was... and (more often) I've been the one complaining while others were raking in the PEDs. As I posted somewhere else, it's a combination of skill, timing and luck

I think mining is based upon game algorithms, not player algorithms. Mines are plotted by the server and when you mine a check is done to see if the player can 'see' it based upon availabiltiy (has someone already mined it), skills, range of tools, etc. Then at some time in the future a new mine is created in the same style (same algorithm) which plots it near the previous, but not in the exact same spot.

So, having a 'bad' day could be due to your area already being mined, you are in an area which does not have mines or your skills/equipment aren't good enough to 'see' the available mines.

Srry,but i cant agree with u.

MINING IS NOT RANDOM

How the hell can it be random when me and Strakkan have the same hitrate?Even on the best mining run,u wont be gettin more the MAX 30% hitrate.If it were random,u would have trips where u have 10% hitrate and when u are lucky 70% hitrate.

And if a area would be dry ,then nobody would be mining.If u havent noticed,there isnt a place,wehre u dont meet a miner. I just think that u empty the area for yourself-u cant go over and over on the same place.I have seen it and there isnt nobody who can convince me.Its just that i think that the bigger finds are there for everybody,even tho i saw that too not working.I was on a teamminingtrip,and i droped a bomb,and got nrf.He did the same,380 ped hof.Same place,1 sec later.

So,u find what u are suposed to find.

And, a bad day for mining is when u start to get tiny deposits on ore!!Like last night
