Haha this is really MA taking the p**s now.

My partner was out mining and hit a VI Typo, it was half in half out of some water, and no matter what angle or how you tried you could not drill it up, Sent a support case to MA with screens of it and the yellow messages saying "please point... bla bla" and this was their responce:

"Hi,

Thank you, you email has arrived.

Sometimes you will find resources that are inaccessible and therefore cannot be excavated. Like this one, that was found in water, or the resource might be stuck under stones or in trees. We have consulted with our design team and this is a feature, which is part of the experience. So unfortunately we cannot offer you any compensation for such resources.

We wish you success in Entropia.

What the hell, you can excavate in water, and on land, why cant you half way between?

Did you try mining it from the water side(swimming position)? I can't really see why this claim should be stuck.

Ive had lots of claims like this, but i always find a spot where you can mine them. Sometimes you need to stick your nose to the claim marker to get it, sometimes tryign from deeper water works, sometimes trying from the land side, etc etc. Havent had a water one i couldnt mine yet.

I was there when she was trying to get it, there was no deep water near, it was all walkable in, but whatever you did you could not get it

Have you tried to drill it in 1st person view? It never fails

Just a guess, but did you try to excavate it while beeing in First-Person Mode? If i encounter such a depot, i switch between 1st Person and 3rd Person Mode and usually it works fine for me.

EDIT: LOL, Majandi was faster^^

yes, 3rd person, 1st person, every single different angle, it expired while trying to mine it. :/
