After careful consideration I am looking to set up my own mining service. I have personally used several mining services in the past and was never disappointed by 1 inparticular. I used to use Sandlewood's service regularly until he stopped offering it and have decided i will look to offer a similar service as I am getting back into mining seriously again.

Terms and coniditions :-

The client will provide an inital advance for each mining run, starting at 500peds and above.

All found resources including globals/hofs/ATHS will be returned to the client at 10% below the in-game market price. Anything above the initial advance (from 500peds+) is at the client's discretion whether to buy at the -10% market rate or not to take the extra resources.

All decay involved will be born by myself and NOT taken from the advance amount.

It is my discretion what methods and equipment I use.

FAQ

Why should I give you peds to mine instead of mining myself?

I envisage the people more likely to use this service to be shopkeepers/traders and higher end crafters who don't want to spend their time mining and would prefer to have an experienced miner do it for them. I have the following skills :

Miner 19
Prospector 19
Surveyor 15
Driller 14
Average 16

Can I choose what ore/enmatter I want you to mine?

To begin with I am going to be mining ore only. You can set a preference as to what ores you would prefer and I will look to mine those fields more but I cannot guarantee a considerably higher hit rate on these ores due to the dynamics of the game.

What collateral do you offer?

The only collateral I have to offer is my reputation. However, if someone is looking to commission me for a particularly high advance then possible collateral offers can be discussed on a case by case basis.

If i was to give you an advance of 500ped how would this work again?

I would use this 500 ped to buy 500 seismic bombs. I would then go away and mine with these bombs. Using equipment/amps as i see fit and at the end of the run return all resources found to you. So for example let's say I found 500ped of 1 ore that has a 210% markup (I sell this to you at 200%)and you decide to take it all you pay me an extra 500 ped upon delivery. (500ped @200% is 1000ped ore value -500 ped advance = 500 outstanding).

Will you be using amps?

Every bomb I drop will be amped. How high i'm going to amp will be dependent on several factors. This way I can guarantee the client will always have a return on their investment. If however the returns fall short of the original advance I will make up the difference in peds. So the client is always guaranteed to have their original investment returned.

What do you get out of this arrangement?

Skills pure and simple. Along with a guaranteed buyer of everything I mine.

First contract 500 ped results :-


Not the most auspicious of starts. Out of 500 bombs the best hits I had was X belk X zinc and IX Niks. All the rest were a mixture below this with only 1 average find. Even with this horrendous hit rate I returned with 411.63 tt of ores which after markup came to 514.52 so I didn't have to "top up" the ores with peds.

Second contract 500 ped results :-


Another run that wasn't much to write home about. Although I did hit some himi which is always nice.

Third contract 800 ped results :-


Following the first 2 contracts where I was using a 101amp I decided to try without amp for a little bit to see if things improved.

Well the results were immediate! In the first 100 bombs I hit 2 ix, 1 Xi, A spaceship (no beacon unfortunately) and a 430ped megan hof. Suffice to say the last 700 bombs didn't live up to the same blistering start but I certainly continued to do better than I had amped. Only other find to write home about after the first 100 bombs was a xii megan and several ix claims.

Fourth contract 800 ped results :-


The first couple of hunndred bombs were nothing special with the highest find being a vi. However, the middle of the run picked up with a 430ped blausarium hof and quite a few ix finds.

Fifth contract 800 ped results :-

This is the first mining run so far where I have had to add peds to the final total to return the clients original deposit. This is on top of hitting the following 50 ped spaceship



I returned with 591.62 tt of ores which minus the 10% came to a total of 710.39. Jet (the client) didn't want me to carry the full brunt of the loss (90ped). I was "happy" to incur the loss but after the second time of jet saying he didn't want me too I readily agreed to split the cost So I returned him the ores and 45ped.

Sixth contract 800ped results :-

This mining run started off abysmil. After about 200 bombs I had about 40ped tt return. Wherever I turned I just seemed to be hitting nrf after nrf after nrf. Finally I I pressed m to get the map up and turned around to the wife and said pick somewhere for me to mine. She pointed on the map. I went to where she pointed and on the third bomb hit this

Go figure!

After 700 bombs my trusty z20 broke. Which to me was a little bit of an achievement as I think it's the first finder (bar tt of course) i'd ever stuck with until it had broken on me! I made the decision to move up to a tk-120 and for the last 100 bombs buy a oa-102. With the tk-120 amped with the 102 I hit a xi cobalt along with enough ores to return the investment in the amp and the bombs but nothing more nothing less.

I finished the run with 826.59 tt of ores which after markdown came to 969.41. Overall considering the beginning of the run it turned out a reaosnable run. I also hit a III adomasite find during this run.

Seventh contract 800 peds results:-

Half way through this contract the cnd "itch" came upon me. So at midnight Wednesday 13th August I hopped on a flight to cnd. I tend to stay away from cnd as I don't do particularly well up there. This run started off no differently. After 78 bombs I had only hit 1 VII Caldorite find. I decided to call it a night and went off to bed.

The next morning I searched google for the term "best cnd dome to mine" or words to that effect. The last link on the returned search page wasn't related to cnd but had number 16 in its title. So dome 16 I headed too. Whilst in dome 16 I hit :-

and also a xi lyst.

With the last 100 bombs I decided to buy an oa-102. With this amp I hit 2 ix lyst finds a xii ganga, an xii iron and this

After removing the amp for the final 2 bombs I also hit a x ganga find.

Finished the run with 675ped tt and 765.05 after markup. So unfortunately was slightly low again this run.

Eighth contract 800 peds results: -

After being a little low on the past couple of contracts for jet and considering I hit a 3k gold find after finishing up the last contract and before undertaking this one I made the decision to use oa-1o2's throughout the next run to hoepfully compensate.

I mined a little planetside and also up on cnd again hitting the following highlights :

I also hit a xii valurite find and found something out of the ordinary. 100 hansidian stones.

Nineth contract 500 peds result :-

Had a new client this time around. A guy called Corey Legacy Depre who I bumped into whilst mining up on cnd. He commissioned me to do a 500ped contract for him.

It was a pretty forgetful contract apart from the following :-

Eleventh contract 500 ped results :-

The less said about this run the better. It was a total disaster and unfortunately I came up short.

Twelth contract 800 ped results :-

I have dropped so many bombs recently again I can't remember this run despite hitting 3 XIII iron finds.

It was during this run that I hit level 22 prospecting.

Thirteenth contract 500 ped results :-

This last run was for a new client XX-Tania-XX. Furnished with my relatively new tk-220 I thought i'd go and see how it would perform on cnd. Everything started off reasonably well the first 2 hits that I found with it were a ix valurite and a viii petonium. Alas those were the only hits of these ores during this contract. However, I did manage to hit a 281ped iron hof.

Fourteenth contract 800 ped results :-

Another 800ped contract for my friend jetcraft. I alternated between cnd and planetside in this contract. Whilst on cnd I hit 1 iron global.

I also hit a very exciting first planetside. I hit my first ever ruga find! a whole 1 stone worth of it.

What will happen if you find only 300ped of market value on the 500ped prepaid ?

Also, what if it's a 105% ore, do I get it for 95% then ?

10% below market is hard to say, onless you make it (markup*90%)

Hi waheed. Straight after posting I realised the 105% ore question. If this is the case then that ore would be at tt value.

If I only found 300 ped of ores from an advance of 500 and let's say the value is tt I would then hand over all the 300 ores and 200peds back to the client. So that their original investment of 500ped was returned.

I had noticed that you do a spot of mining. Your reputation obviously proceeds you Have just had dinner myself. Give me a hsout when you get back and we'll meet up in game. If we don't catch up before the match will have to be tomorrow maybe.

If I'm reading this right, that sums it up nicely. He's banking on his knowledge of mining to get him the good markup ores, so that *HE* ends up making a profit, but if he doesn't, the crafter himself (or herself) would come out even at least.

you mine and get an uber ore say MU around 4k%..I pay you 3990% + 500 ped to get the ore from you..I then have to sell it if to a reseller at much less then 3990% or pay huge auction fee to ma.

If he gets a huge hof of some 4k% ore, then you CAN (You don't have to) buy it for (4000-10% = (4000*0.9) = 3600%) minus the 500ped you already paid - So if it's 1k ped worth 40k peds then you pay 35500 ((40000 * 0.9) - 500) = 35500
