10x -vs- 21x -vs- Ziplex .. Opinions which is best?

I've looked over the stats top to bottom. I know the 10x series is UL while the 21x and Zips are L. It also appears you get deeper faster with the Zips but also reach your SIB cap sooner.

What I'm looking for now is the opinion or personal experiences of everyone else? Does anyone feel really strong about one over the other two, postively or negatively?

I use anything that has sib. Was using 103, 211L, Z15,Z20. Didn't notice any thing especially different

I seem to have similar experiences with each although some finders have greater depth which will allow me to find rare resources. My MD-50 still seems to perform very well if I am looking for common items so once the deep level (L) finders I decide to use run out I pretty much go back to my MD-50 and just forgo looking for the rares until I can afford it.

Calypso Ground Assessment

I've used the 105 for a long time until recently I decided to test the Z20, apart from maganite which I have never found with the 105, everything else is pretty much the same. (the decay of the Z20 (0.03ped/bomb) is a bit higher compared to the 105 (0.02ped/bomb)).
As for the 211(L) I've used until I had enough skill for the 105, it's a good finder to skill with but I believe the 105 is better after you have the skill for it!
So right now I'm back to the good old 105!

I'm hopping to get a big hof so that I can try the Z25 or the tk120!

I would advise to go for the best depth your skills and budget allow you.

Low level L finders dont have much markup so IMO are better than 101-104 finders because they give better depth at lower skills.

Once you reach the level of Z20 and of-105 it really depends on your mining style and budget.

in my exp. the Zips r better,i had quite bad runs with of105, now im doing better with z20, i tried also better finders( go deeper) but had worst results, my suggestion is dont go deeper then z20

I do much better with my OF-105 than any other finder I have used.

211 is one of the best low end ore finders in my opinion, its cheap as dirt and can find all the common ores and some uncommon ones. z20 is ok, its markup is low but you are paying 3x the drop cost of a 211 for not too much mroe depth. You find more uncommons with the z20 tho, and can touch the rares rarely. I broke a few of those tho, no complaints.

I always thought the z25 had way too high a markup for what it was, never considred it worth it. z15 i dont remember.

212s 213s etc woudl be great, but they are non existant, tho considering they are non existant if any did show up they would probably be priced out of 'great' status.

tik120 i always thougth had too high a markup for its depth. 220+ well theya re expensive and you gotta know where the rares are found to even have hope of not loosing your butt with them. Even if you dont know where the rares are, they can still be fun to try out once to find new things, but you gotta be willing to accept the markup for that privilege.

Unfortunatly, I refuse to spend the ped to test any better finder than a z25. I have used an array of the old finders...

out of all the ones ive used the 212 was my favorite and I would buy a 212 or a 213 in a heart beat. I use a 105 (both en and ore), just kinda standard middle of the road finder. I would buy a md-50 also, I dont mind using md-40's.

Problem with the Tk-120 and the z25 is that they both call for 1 ingot of Zanderium, which is currently trading at 2000%+ markup (~160 ped).

OF-105 was so expensive because it calls for gold; once the gold droprate skyrocketed (price went from 4000+% down to current 200%), the price on OF-105s came down to match the availability of ingredients. If gold becomes rare again, expect the price to climb again.

MF-105 is still ridiculously expensive because it calls for Dunkel, which drops more rarely than rugaritz or tridenite. Droprate just went up on Binary... been a bunch of globals on it lately. If dunkel droprate goes up, we'll see a corresponding reduction in prices there.

If past performance is any indication, MA will keep Zanderium rare as hens teeth for a year or so, then introduce a whole new range of -ites and -iums below 1000m and then Zanderium will start to phase in and prices will drop.

Hope this helps.
