What's a good common ore finder.

I want to ask if anyone has any suggestions for a good finder to use while mining low ore fields such as narc/lyst/belkar. The reason I ask is I have been trying to mine in Eudoria and it occured to me that perhaps the problem was I was skimming over the finds with the z20 resulting in the considerable lack of finds despite what looks like good ammount of skill messages.

Now I've been an enmatter driller till I chipped it out and now I'm mining so I have a way better grasp on the good finders for some enmatters to target (such as mf-105 works just slightly better than the 213 L to plow through the typo, lyta, angelic around Neas hitting them all (and ya it doesn't find much rare but thats fine over the 40+ runs I did total there since I came back to EU this year)).

I also seem to have a good feel for the ores on Amerthea, but despite all my efforts with of-105, 211, 101, z20 I can't seem to get the right tool for a simple narc belkar field in Eudoria. ( I can tell by my estimated hit rates).

So I'd like some advice on what to try next, I'd like some advice before I have to test them all, should I try the of-103?

It's too bad people stopped giving data in that thread with the orefinder statistics derived graphs, I'd really like to see or analyze more of those.

And speaking of Eudoria, it's unique in the aspect that there are some areas (such as around PA) where there really is no mid or high depth ores at all.

I get decent returns on Eudoria with an OF105, and been maxed for several levels now. I think it's all in where you are in your luck cycle. Sometimes I can go to rich areas in Eudoria and get nothing at all, and go back a week later and global several times.

Oh, and there's plenty of stuff right around PA with an OF-105

If you are looking to consistently hit narc and belk OF-105 is a good choice, and it is pretty cheap too.

this is always delicate issue, couse succes depends on more things,

I thought I'd be better off with something like a of-103 than of-105 really. I have them both maxed but the higher end ones give me mostly skill message and no only the deep cheapie ores Was wondering what I can do about it.

Plus my theory was exciting.

I used to get lots of X-XII lysts around phoenix with of-103 but i cant find anything with better finders. Overall my expectations were ofc smaller with of-103 making it a lot more fun than the expensive of-105.

If it has to be L finder I'd rather use z20 than any other, just because I have got the best success with it.

Just to clarify I guess the main thing I was looking for input for is:

Do you guys think intentionally lowering my average search depth to try to zero in on a sweetspot somewhere between 350 and 430 would help more than just using your standard finder or the best I have skills for. Especially considering some fields in Eudoria don't seem to have anything deep worth mining for.

it would help to know, what pros level you got, because for every skill-level i would recommend another finder. Definately go L and as high as possible, everything else is waste of skills and time.

I think times of un-L finders like OF-105 have past, i used it with good success for a long time, but with the high Ziplex everywhere around you run over too many dry fields with it.

Im not such a good miner but well.... I use a OF211(L)
the best thing I ever found was Kanerium I think
