I am not a miner (anymore) but I would suggest capturing as much info as you can. Anything possible could contribute to the cause. I am not convinced that mining skills alone determine success or failure. The same cold be said about any profession IMO.

not yet, I'm found one made with C# but it's throwing some exceptions.


I know the letters are not perfect but if OCR can recognize handwriting this shouldn't be a problem. Besides I prefer performance to optimal quality

I don't recall where the pic is.. but there was someone online once that was using some intresting graphics to locate old claim spots.. It had neat colourfull circles that you could see on screen and gave such info as size of claim and whether or not there was a claim there at all. lol I wish I could find the pic. It was under the global section if i recall correctly!!

yes I though of that but... from a programmer perspective it could be hard to determine if you found scales, amp and so on.

even the info about if you're mining with an amp is very hard to determine


wish MA created an API that gave that information...

Most importantly:
Minimum input effort from user, with maximum output from app.

Meaning;
No, I dont want to press 5 keys in the correct order for every drop.

The results of recordings should contain the basic information TheVoid mentioned.

I would appreciate a possibility to "filter" finds according to certain criteria (f.ex. run #xx, resource type, depth, deposit size (range or specific), etc) onto a map and be able to save the map (like a just regular pic), aswell as being able to save the filter I've defined.

I'm not sure if this is applicable to your project though.
