I just looked through the stats of finders /detectors in PEWiki, and saw that Omegaton EnMatter Detector ED-50 has way better stats then the Omegaton EnMatter Detector ED-10. What was most astonishing was that the decay is way lower then on the ED-50.
Is PEWiki Info wrong here, and if not, why should i use the TT Detector at all? |

Actually i didn't get the point. On weapons you miss a lot when using a rifle that doesn't match your skills. And you loose more the more ammo a weapon burns. But the MD-50 doesn't use more probes per click then the MD-10. Or is this assumption wrong?
And as far as my experience with mining goes there is not something like a miss. Not finding a deposit is very much related to where you mine, not how high your skills are. |

Firstly, no, your stats are the same on imk2 as it is on regular mk2. You have the same minimum damage in %, and you have the same hit ability and ch ability. (Same goes for all non SIB weapons within your pro standing) Secondly, the point was that TT items are just that, they sell at TT and nothing more. |

your skills won't match the ED-50, and your search depth will be very very low (<20 maybe lower?) while the ED-10 will have 70-80
so I'd say go with the one that has highest search depth ![]() (unless you just wanna search for matters just below earth surface) |

its way much cheaper to use the tt one if u dont have high skills...
i personally still use the MD 102 with ~500 survey ^^ |

Galadea you should know that you also have the crafted ones..
the mf 101 is better than the tt finder, but can be used from the start also It will probably be best if you use one of those ![]() You might get them from your soc for tt ? or otherwise for a small markup on auction when you're done with the 101 maybe you should start checking out L finders as they're cheap atm (the mf 210 is 102% or so) and their depth is much greater ![]() |

I just want to second what Nitrosomonas said.
The (L) finders have way better stats (but can't be repaired), and a new one will last longer than you will take to skill up to the next level. You can easily sell your used 210(L) finder when your stats is better on 211(L) and get some nice cash back to help finance it. |
