Well done on a good job Squee!
I came back to the game last week and I've started mining for the first time. I tried NRF out on two runs last night and it does everything I need; I'm basically starting from scratch as far as mining goes - I was looking for a decent tool and this seems perfect. Thanks for your hard work - interested to see how this develops ![]() I'll throw some +rep your way for sure. |

Hi Squee,
I recently bought some probes, partly inspired by NRF, and discovered the power of the tool. Now I am using NRF to track my TP Running challenge, I record my position as if I had dropped a bomp/probe. The challenge is to race around Eudoria to get all TP's within as little time as possible. Taking your guesses here (EFD to be won): Eudoria TP Marathon The resulting mining log will be used as 'proof' and to produce a renewed TP run map. Best regards, Borr |

excellent tool
i have one question Squee, -is there an option to make they 'x-axis' time? i know it is time already, but i mean so that the points are not equally spread apart, but are separated by distances that correllate to distance in time. |

BTW yesterday I started using the "bomb/drill drop" part of the application (before was just recording claims).
I noticed something you could do... have the bomb/drill drops show up as the grey circles, and the claims show up as small dots. Seems sort of funky to try and figure out where I dropped the bomb at, when I was ontop of the claim (happens far too often lol). This would make it easier to see what claims were found within what bomb radius, as it is the claim circles seem to be a couple pixels larger than the bomb radius circles. Also, when I tried to map the "bomb/drill drop" to any key outside of my numpad, it refused to work . Was this intentional, or just didn't add the function yet?And yet again, final part - batch importation. I found a bunch of claim snapshots that if I manually load each one and click "parse claim deed" it will work, but when I try the batch process, nothing happens... .p.s. - you *do* need a complete re-write of your manual, so that complete newbs can follow it .Otherwise, I love this tool! |

If you want finds smaller, right click on the grid, and edit the values of the radius..Quote:

Ok, don't feel like reading all posts so if this has been said before, just ignore it.
Seems like a nice tool and all, but I don't understand how it is supposed to do all those things in-game when I simply have to alt-tab to update the images to make it work at all. And frankly, I have read through the help section in your site, and still don't quite get how it is supposed to work, seems pretty confuse to me. Maybe it would be a good idea to have someone who isn't the developer of the program himself to write a helping guide to avoid using sentences and terms in the explanations we are trying to get explanations of in the first place. Would be so much better if the tool could be really handled in-game, pretty much like PE-Ass. I mean, just having a screenshot function doesn't make it an "in-game tool" as stated by far. (P.S.: I am feeling kinda grumpy while writing this, so please don't mind if I sound rude in any way. I'll be a bit more positive after I get some sleep) |

A possible suggestion would be instead of manually inputting the radius of the tool, have a drop-down menu of choices... only a dozen or so options (no clue if it's hard to code that in or not). Quote:

BTW I'm not the only one with this problem, a friend of mine has over 6k (yes, 6,000) pics of mining deeds that he's kept track of over the years. He tried your program and it refuses to parse any of them no matter what he did, so maybe it's a hidden bug in your latest version? Quote:

. Very nice program, just needs to be fine-tuned so that even the newbiest of miners can use it, and it'll completely ROCK!![]() |
