For all with with problems parsing since the update: Download the update zip from the page. Not the full version. I havent updated that file yet. Kinda stupid of me looking back. It contains an minor update already.
I've had some reactions that it works now. I really dunno what happened. It seemed that one file didnt update a last minute adjustment in the release compilation. While debugging, the executing code did some things that shouldnt have happend according to the code. I just emptied the temp files and recompiled everything and the bug seemed to be gone. The bug doesnt seem to be fixed as well when you configure your colors manual and restart the app. Next release with this bugfix will be soon ( as in a few hours ). Just trying to round up some additions like a 'beta' window mode support. |

Not a bad idea although the Range, Amp or Vu wont change as they are unreadable from a normal screenshot. It will only become more confusing if one automatically updates and the rest doesnt. The idea for the future is to someway have a list of tool/amp combo's and with an added hotkey your able to switch.Quote:
NRF WIKI - Settings -> Color Settings It will explain why the colors or B/W and why they change when you want to picking a color ![]() |

Official Update Released...
Question to those wanting windowed mode support: I have added support for it, but you need to enable it when the app starts. I have not been able to test this at all with EU itself as EU wont run in windows mode. I have tested it with other windows and it seemed to as it should. Please let me know if this works or not ![]() Info for windowed mode : Settings should be clear as in the use. When attempting to make a screenshot and window mode support is enabled, nrf will detect the window ( again ), even if EU restarted in the mean while or after nrf was started it should work. *edit* I got 1 reply that states it works. As for colors, they all get the default "ok" color, green. Wiki: NRF Wiki->Mining Log ( check resourcelist ). Simply said, right click the resource list that is on the right of the map. Is that what you ment? ..Or.. Did you mean for different deposit sizes and not the resource types? The depositsizes list is new and in the future will probably support colors as well, and let the use switch between resource or size indications. |

I know that it's possile switch off other minerals and leave for example only Lyst there, but it could be nice when each mineral/enamtter will have different color (for example: Lyst white, Blaus blue...etc). And its hard to do, but you can group deposit sizes and add add intensivity of these colors (more blue will be for huge Blaus source, and less for tiny). That's my sugestion. I know my english is't good, that's some times hard to understand
![]() ![]() first, wrote this reply, then check out link which you shown in the last post...sorry:P let me try this colors ![]() ...5 minutes later... i'm impressed these colors...good job mate! what about intensivity?? Last edited by madstorm; 12-11-2006 at 18:57. Reason: update :) |

Intensity... Well I like the idea.. The depositsize list is new and I havent worked out how I wanna use them. I have several idea's already but that would mean several options for the use of both lists. Intensity is one extra
![]() I might need a settings panel for the map now too. Well one thing at a time I have no priority list, so if ppl want something done fast, the more that speak up, the more chance its done soon. Just look at windows mode. Several requests made it a top priority ( next to fixing the bugs ). ATM the top priority is running on top of EU like only peAss can do. |

I did it again.. I dunno how but even though ill kept my electricity, something went horribly wrong. Doomed like a true Irken I guess. My server has power issues. For some reason it turns itself off within seconds or minutes of powering it up, even when I am just looking at the bios.
I am kinda sick of the problems this machine already has given me, so I bought a full set of new and better equip to build into the casing. Just hope it runs longer then my last 2 servers. Anyway, this will cause the update to be posponed and me to only check EF once or twice a day and be short about answering.. The status of NRF/fixes in next update: 1. Date time is shown incorrectly in the mining log. As far as I have checked they are saved correctly. Do not edit them manually to fix as this will probably cause it to save incorrectly. 2. There is a report that the radius is not displayed correctly on the map. I havent found the issue itself yet. Maybe others can check and report if they have the same issue. 3. I have had 3 reports that windowmode support works without problems. 4. XML export is totally screwed. Dunno why but I think it was when I was trying to fix some encoding issues. |
