Robot spacecrafts belong to miners!

There were no robots around.

I waited for some time for someone to come and claim it .......... when nobody showed up I claimed the ship.

I ve ran into similar robot ship on TI.. no drones, no ppl.. waited 30 sec and claimed it.. only guess I had was that someone had got his/hers first strange signal, killed drones and left, without knowing what to do next

Talk about beating a dead bot too death. Hard to believe this discussion still going on. Its all pretty simple really if you look at it.

1) Spaceships are spawned as a result of mining. Period, end of discussion. They do not spawn randomly to someone walking by or some strange loot from a mob.

2) Spaceships are protected by a couple of bots. Dont think I have ever seen above a Gen 02 or more then 3 bots around one. If the miner is running around with no armor and fairly new to the game, they will probably get killed by the bots. Ship is still there waiting to be claimed.

This all comes down to how you perceive and play the game. If you chance upon a ship and no one around, go for it.

If you chance upon a ship and someone is killing the bots before hitting the button... Well guess it just depends on what type of person you are. You can jump in and hit the button and get the global or you can wait patiently to see if the miner dies or you can even help out the miner if needed, then wait for some type of reward from them.

I am a noob, just a couple years in game; several spaceships to my record, all from mining. Never have I had one spawn in front of me if there wasnt someone on radar mining. Each person will take their own approach to how to deal with a spawned spaceship. right or wrong, only your own opinion of yourself can answer that.

Anyhow, voted 3 but real answer is loot it and wait for miner to come back. Reason for this is anyone can come along, see spaceship and claim it as theirs. Person who actually spawned it will probably ask if you have seen a ship around. Hopefully miner will offer a reward of sorts to get his loot back. If miner doesn't come back then it's yours obviously.

as a miner i agree with most that it is there for the taking. i believe that it appears when you mine and not random. however if you find one wait say 5 minutes and no one appears take it. but don't go in and kill the guy (cough cough) and then take it.

idd, there only found when mining so a miner must of got it therefore i think it should be miners only
