Well I ain't got a clue about the decay, but from what I heard did they used to give skills too, but that was long ago, could've changed now...

EDIT : Probably someone who already got a drill tower since the vu should clear things up, from what was stated here they *are* existent apparently...

Mabey this is where skills matter. And when you think of it it would make sense.
If a newb gets lucking first day and finds a 3k lyst he would even want to drill it up himself and get lots of skills

But if an uber gets a 3k list he would have the skills to build/run a drill tower

has anyone with high mining skills got an uber yet? mabey they could answer this?

1. Stay awake for 48 hours to mine your lyst and get skills.

2. Let this drilltower do the work for ya and get no skills.

i think they work as before (long time ago) u get skills after drilltower is finished. it acumulates skills to. i hope now they work in same way.

Skill gains at the end of extraction I believe.

A drilltower dosen't make you get a lot of skills, since you extract all of it at once.
At least that's what our soc member Ice told me when he extracted 4k ped of oil
