Well, trying again...
NRF Downloaded it... and now what... I don't get it really (or maybe it is just so simple that I already finished, but okay, here goes). Downloaded, selected the entropia.exe file, and made it compatible with Windows2000. I checked the programme and found the hotkeys 0, 1, 2, 3, 9 But... there has to be something else... not? If I run this programme, do I then just run Entropia "over it"? And then, I press 1 after a bomb, and 0 if it was a hit, and then it all happens automatically? Is it really that easy? I dunno, seems a bit... well, too easy, surely if I get this programme to interact with something EU, I need to do some settings somewhere...? |

I you find the manual unclear, here is some info.
1. Set entropia.exe to win2k compatibility. 2. Yes, just pressing "1*" to record a drop works. 3. To record a find open your claim on the coordinates/type page and press "0". 4. If you also press "U" to show MA time the program will record exact time, pressing "p" for position allows NRF to record current height as well. 5. Recording skills works by pressing "3" on each page of your skills window. *default keys given GL |

Yes it's that easy... it helps if you understand what's happening though. NRF takes a screenshot. You'll hear two beeps. First one is always the same letting you know that it took the screenshot (screen capture) and the second one is either a high pitch beep or a low pitch beep. High pitch beep means it successfully read (parsed) the screenshot. A low pitch beep means it failed.
The program simply takes the screenshot and passes it through an OCR (Optical Character Recognition) program to gather data from it. If the colors are off under the settings tab it will fail a lot. You have to use the color pickers AFTER you take a screenshot to "sample" the colors and set them to the correct values. Never move any of your pop up windows (claim deed info or stats screens) as the program looks for them in the default positions. Hope that a better understanding and the tips I've given help you to get it going. It's a brilliant program and a breeze to use once set up properly. |

Note: If you are outside of EU for to long using this you will often have your connection drop out. If you are quick about it though it will remain connected. Time varies greatly on this. |
