as was said try
a) different area
b) same area with lower finder
c) same area a little sooner or later than u used to go to it.
d) if nothing works prepare to pay MA peds in advance for next global.

B) Don't realy get the point of that. Do you find different ores whit lower finders?

C) Must be interesting to infestigate when I do my runs. Better return when there is high activety in eu ore when no one is around

b) well, I use 104 and 105 only (with your skills it's probably 104 maxed ?) some areas just hit better with with lower finder (gazz, belk, cald and the like). don't ask for reason I don't know any :P
(some ppl use TT finder for whatever reasons, never worked good for me tho)
c) ores/ens are available in areas during certain time periods. (some ppl call it respawn, which it is not IMO - it's just window of availability, and IMO they move a bit sometimes)

note I'm noob miner (~20 prospector, 13 surveyor) so I'm still figuring things out, lol (I guess it'll take me another 80 lvls). so I may as well be wrong

Couldn't resist to do a last run . Almost no claims and in the end it was all going wrong. But there was a Loungu Mature witch gave me a 20 loot.

I also have found the last few days have seen a major drop in both size of finds & frequency of finds. The last 2-3 days I havent found more than one Ample when I normally find 2-4 ample & a few sizeables too (still come in at about 70-80% return) the last few days have dried right up (and I've travelled far and very very wide to try to counter this, mining known fruity spots and trying new areas too). Personally Ive dropped from an average of 70-80% down to 30-40%, one has to ask wether MA are trying to fund too many big hofs from a depleted lootpool?

Loved reading this thread the last few weeks, I recommend you also take a few days off the mining trail as I am. I figure the Balancing staff are all on sebatical as there seems to be no balancing at all lately. I don't mind taking small losses over time but this is ridiculous, I've managed 400-500 bombs a day for the last couple of weeks now I can't afford more than a 50 bomb run. C'mon Mindark get you're shit together!!!

Ya the uncommon but not rare larger then normal finds seem to be gone.

~1200 probes(with 102 amps) yesterday and the day before, before i got something ample or bigger, then i got a large(3 pec short of a global), a sizable, another large(barely a large), and another sizable in the last 150 probes.

I was loosing big before those, and ended up even instead of a big loss.

And ya for the last 2000 drops ive been low 20s hit rate, its been bad.

I did notice a ton of 1k-10k hofs going off yesterday tho, so mabye that was why.

Personally I find this interesting! Why?
Because it means you can just get better returns by analyzing the returns of other pll.
If everyone got bad return, don't do your run.
Average return off everyone is good, Mine like crazy

So really listening to other pll can help you !

Yesterday, I logged in 3-4 times over the course and laid about 300 unamped probes, and probed the same place 2nd time (with about 6hrs between) that got me many small claim, but higher markup enmatters the 1st time, and im glad i did, cause the 2nd probing found me two consecqutive VII magerian mist. I went back a third time about 4 hours after the 2nd and found nada.... through the whole 300 probes tho i found 4 VII's and lots of IV III and II. Didn't quite break even, about 5-6 ped short. (not including equip/ammo).
