Crafting for the New

Tired of running around in your OJ's?
Need something with a little more kick?
Looking for some odd parts?

I'm offering crafting services for the new.

Now I'm no expert crafter by far, and my selection is small, but growing.
I've got really good success rates with basic outfits and mannell shoes, as well as a few firearms.

So if you'd like to stop running around in your OJ's or underwear, come see me.

I ask only that you provide the materials, and these are pretty easy to come by.

Materials can be raw or refined.

Item Costs (per attempt):

Clothes:

Basic Pattern Shirt:
2 Wool Cloth (or 3 balls of "Wool")
5 Molisk Enamel Buttons (or 15 Molisk Teeth)
4 Generic Leather (or 12 Animal Hides).

Basic Pattern Pants:
1 Molisk Enamel Button (or 3 molisk Teeth)
1 Fine Textile (or 3 balls of "Fine Wool")
9 Generic Leather (or 27 Animal Hides)

Mannell Shoes:
1 Wool Thread (or 3 balls of "Thin Wool")
1 Fine Leather (or 3 Fine Hides)
9 Generic Leather (or 27 Animal Hides)

Firearms:

Jester D-1
1 Melchi Crystal (or 2 Melchi Waters)
2 Iron Ingot (or 6 iron Stones)
2 Belkar Ingot (or 2 Belkar Stones)

(Yes, I can make them, if you really want them - but I honestly don't know anyone who *wants* them - but if you really do, I'll make 'em)

Mann MPH:
4 Lysterium Ingot (or 12 Lysterium Stones)
1 Garcen Lubricant (or 2 Garcen Lubricants)
2 Narcanisum Ingot (or 6 Narcanisum Stones)

Shreik Covert Ops:
4 Garcen Lubricant (or 8 Garcen Lubricants)
12 Blausariam Ingots (or 36 Blausarium Stones)
2 Lytairian Powder (or 4 Lytairian Dusts)

Shreik Street:
1 Typonolic Gas (or 2 Typonolic Steams)
14 Narcanisum Ingot (or 42 Narcanisum Stones)
8 Blausariam Ingot (or 24 Blausarium Stones)

Melee Weapons:

Killian Sword:
1 Durulium Ingot (or 3 Durulium Stones)
1 Angelic Flakes (or 2 Angelic Grits)
2 Iron Ingot (or 6 Iron Stones)

Weapon Attachments:

Alekz Precision Scope
8 Oil (or 16 Crude Oil)
2 Durulium Ingot (or 6 Durulium Stones)
4 Alicenies Gel (or 8 Alicenies Liquids)
3 Caldorite Ingot (or 9 Caldorite Stones)

E-Amp 11
8 Narcanisum Ingot (or 24 Narcanisum Stones)
2 Binary Energy (or 4 Binary Liquids)
2 Magerian Mist (or 4 Magerian Sprays)

Beacin Laser Sight
5 Magerian Spray (or 10 Magerian Mists)
8 Dianum Ingot (or 24 Dianum Stones)

Tools:

LifeScanner I
8 Zinc Ingot (or 24 Zinc Stones)
15 Melchi Crystal (or 30 Melchi Waters)

EMT Ek-1000
11 Zinc Ingot (or 33 Zinc Stones)
7 Alicenies Gel (or 14 Alicenies Liquids)

Vivo-T5(L)
5 Simple I Conductors (these are crafted items, I can make these as well)
3 Zinc Ingot (or 9 Zinc Stones)
1 Medical Compress (or 2 Blood Moss)
2 Robot Low-Loss Link Cable (These are Robot Components, no substitutes!)

It is advisable to bring a few attempts worth of materials, as crafting can be fickle at times. Any unused materials will be returned. And should any attempt result in a crafting global, bonuses will be paid.

I do NOT color or texture, but I can recommend you to people who do.

New Blueprints and Designs will be added as my own skills improve!
(ie: I have just recently acquired a Luna Pattern Shirt blueprint, but my skill level is too low to risk attempting it yet!)

So what do I get out of this? I get to meet new people, and yes, I build crafting skills.

What do you get? Items when I succeed, bonuses if I global, and a chance to meet none other than me! What more could you ask for? =)

What if I fail? Crafting is a risk, like hunting and mining, and some times it happens. It's no one's fault. I'll not attempt prints that are beyond me - I'm questionable about trying prints that I've less than a 50% base chance of success - hence the currently limited selection.

But if you're willing to take the chance, you've got good odds of converting some of your loot into useful items!

Of Note: Since the Vivo-T5(L) is a limited item, I strongly recommend bringing a good supply of metal, energy and/or robot component residue to raise the quality of the item.

Other crafted items can/often do come out below their Max TT value, and may require repairs in short order. Residues can be added to raise their starting values.

Oh, I know it's not easy - if it were, everyone would be doing it, and there's be little demand for crafted items!

But I thought I'd offer my services to the new, who could certainly make use of any number of lower-leveled items as a means to work on my skills.

Good luck with this service,

the basic pattern pants/shirts could work, and the T5(L) i guess (even though the blood moss could be a bitch for a fresh miner)

the other stuff, a bit difficult perhaps.

I'm referring to the Success Rate listed on the print itself - as long as it's at least half-full.

And I agree - blood moss could be tough to come by,and the auction markup on it is insane. But that'll happen when resources like this have only been found in lootable pvp area.

Although I am against selling non-SIB weapons to newbies (Especially Jesters), I think you got something nice going on here.

Just wanted to ask can you add animals skins to the clothes for patterns/effects yet or is this a bit above you level?

I don't texture or color, just make items (which would include "adding animal skins") - but I know more than a few tailors who can, and will, if you provide them with the materials. And while I don't do these things, I do know that it takes around 200 of a given texture or color to fully texture or color an item.

The reason:
I'm only focusing on one set of skills at a time. Texturing and Coloring are another set of skills, and though they do overlap some, it's easier to focus on a single skill set at a time.

And I agree with you Lofty - non-SIB weapons aren't for newbies, but I'm not selling them, merely crafting them in exchange for materials.
