Honk if you love Snables!

I have on many occassions considered snables my bread and butter. Not too long ago I found a huge herd of them and diakibas north of jason and had a blast slaughtering them all. got 3 goblin parts out of the deal and tons of hair gel

Well as with the other small creatures, at least even if I get bad loot which I'm used to, at least I'm spending less money per hour for about the same amount of enjoyment on snables as with the other mobs.

Interesting thought... I always go there to burn up the squrit guns I loot. Lucky me, as I don't need armor, so it's a cheap hunt and fair skilling.

Ah, the joy of loot being blasted all over you from a snable's snout!

But yes, I used to hunt snables and exa's, they were my faves for loot. I hated combibo's, they didn't loot at all for me, I don't know if the last VU improved them or not. I recommend the snables and exa's highly for opalo users, and up thru breers, maybe to riker, as something good to hunt. At some point the cost-per-shot outweighs the return , but I guess you can always keep an opalo handy to make it eco.

I had the same experience I shot snables with my imp2870 instead.. it took 1 hit always.

it was boring took 30-45 minutes to go through just 100 ped.. but i made like 15 ped in the end with very few mini's!!!

if you have the patience this is a good way to make peds slowly.

I love to sweat hunt. Much more fun then plain sweating, and the only way you can hunt and get pretty sure profit when you add in sweat. I also usually come out even or + a bit on these mobs.

Hehe, it seems that if you keep going on that track, its a good way to lose PEDs slowly

Well it seems almost unanimous! To know 'em is to love 'em!

And I'm glad I posted here. n00bs (no disrespect intended by the way, I'm an ever-n00b), hint hint.... Make sure you get the Atlas Haven TP ASAP and spend some time to the north of AH getting your EU career off the ground. No guarantees ofc, but it does seem that many of us have found that sweating and hunting here offers at least a good chance for you to accumulate your first set of pixie, your basic skills, and maybe even some extra PED without getting bored to death just sweating for the first 3 months.

I think that sums up my feelings pretty well . 50 peds with an opalo lasts about 2 hours when hunting around Atlas. You get some Kerberos in t here to, so that adds to the "excitement". It's a lot of grinding, but those with the patience could probably make small profits here and there.
