Yep, I've made about 300 ped off of snables I think, before VU 9.0 the loot was awesome. Hasn't been so great for me lately though....But it is very economic

Been playing now for 6 months and, while I have decent enough skills to hunt much larger critters, seem to always end up on Atlas Island (south of Haven). Really can't go wrong there with an Opalo or a mix of Emik S30 and Svempa S40. Bring along about 150 ped of ammo and you are almost guaranteed a small profit and some useful items for n00bs. The hair gel alone can make a decent profit.....

I agree, definitely stretches the peds out longer. I have been skill
hunting the area for the last 8 months, pretty much exclusively. I
always use 50 peds of ammo (45 ped for Opalo, 5 ped for TT pistol).
The return ranges from as low as 30% - 200%, with the average
return usually being between 60-80%. I write down returns daily
and tally returns and sales, minus ammo & repairs every 10 days
(500 ped ammo), and rarely lose too much, though I don't always
sell all my loots. About every 3 months I check 'EU website' and I
add up TT value of all items, and for the most part, I usually have
more TT value, and that isn't including skill value (should hit Coolness
by the end of the year at current rate)

Hey Bal, check out www.entropiatools.com There's an Inventory Calculator that does what you describe here, plus it will give you the market value of all your items based on PEAuction prices.

Also consider jdegre's skill scanner (see one of the pinned posts in the skills section.) That program is super-cool for scanning the Skills window and calculating the estimated TT and market value of your skills.

I tally the net worth of my Avatar too, but with these tools I'm able to do it almost every day in about 5 minutes!

i had alot luck on them in the past i think their a solid mob to hunt. especially starting out.

I haven't been to AH for a while but like going there. I use a CB13(L) to hunt but it is not as eco as an opola but I get a 1 shot kill 70-80 percent of the time on youngs and it only uses 4 ammo. It usually takes 6 ammo with the opola for me so I think the decay on the CB13 trades off for less ammo and it does real good Kerbies.

I spent a lot of time sweating and hunting these too. The young males are a good candidate for my nerve blast experiments.

I also have a L3 male stalker and an old female that I hope to one day breed.
