As an item decays, it is worth less. When you repair it, it's worth more again. Question is, is it worth the same as when it was new?
The reason I ask is I was browsing through the pages of pants and shirts on auction and the vast majority of them look white, some with more wear than others. Is it more cost effective to buy a new pair of pants as opposed to buying an old pair and then repairing them? The problem is when they're used I can't tell what color they're supposed to be because they're so faded. Is it simply safer to just buy new ones? |

Remember, when buying an article of clothing that has been coloured or had special textures applied to it, that the current market price may be hard to guess depending on the colour/texture combination used. I personaly, would craft my own item and then take it to a person skilled enough to add the colours and textures to my item for me - and work out a price with them for doing so - some people will have the materials needed for the process and others will ask that you bring the paint or textures with you that you want applied. Another thing to note is that when colouring (and I beleive adding textures) to an item, part of the TT value of the paints (or textures) being added is then applied to your clothing item, incresing its TT value until its full TT - once its full, peds/pecs are returned in a loot window with the item after its been modified. Hope that helps.. and that I worded it in a fashion that you understand! Cheers! |

It really depends on your personal tastes and the style you want to achieve. Some people spends 1000's and 1000's of peds on their clothes.. some do not. Its my experience that it pays off to look around - explore the many many shops we have and make yourself a note if you find something you like - write down where it is, how much etc.. and keep looking around... when it comes to shops tho, remember nothing is set in stone when it comes to price - you can negotiate with the shop owner if you feel you can get a better price. Some will work with you, some will not. I can tell you this much for sure - the deeper your pockets, the better your avatar is going to look ![]() |

For unlimited items you need to look at prices in terms of TT+ rather than the absolute figure. Say you have a shirt at 5 PED TT, priced at 25 PED, and another identical shirt at 8 PED TT, priced at 28 PED. In reality these items are exactly the same price - TT+20. |
