I just started playing about a week ago and have spent alot of time on the forums trying to learn the dos and donts of this game. Your test seems like a great way to learn to play the right way and learn from someone who knows what they are doing. In return for your generosity I will follow your test outline to the letter. I have little time invested in my current Avatar and have no problem putting him on the shelf and creating a new one.

I'm sure BlackHawk will answer this himself later, but for those who read what he posts on the forum and what he does in-game, it's clear that he's a committed player who's passionate about EU, and I'd guess that's what leads him to do things like this.

There's no doubt that he'd be an excellent mentor to anyone, using this plan or otherwise.

Good luck with the project BlackHawk. I think your plan looks good in theory. The one thing I'd question is whether you've chosen the best mobs, especially Cornundacauda which I've always felt were a very over-rated mob.

forget the budget, i'll be wathcing to see if the skills and profit targets can be made for 4 hours a day. really not sure you can max tt weapons in one month or ~120hours. and 3K spare cash AND an A106?

Blackhawk why would you make money hunting corns?
They almost exclusively drop tt shit or very close too (which you will have to save to sell for some markup). So you expect a noob with m2a to consistently get more TT back? MA has designed this game so that won't happen. Only with maxed old school guns i think thats possible (or just luck).
Otherwise its markup that you need and corns wont give it.

I came a long way in this game without depositing, but now that i'm skilling up again from zero it has become a much tougher game.

You're telling newbies how to profit.

Where does all this profit comes from?
Well, I know - it's me ...

Because my only profit ever was to be here before many of the newcomers, and to buy gear when it was low. And to start with 20 points in any attribute (beneath HP and the unused one), and to skill when it was comparable easy. It wasn't as easy in late '05 as it was before - but we CND babies still had a huge advantage to todays newbies.

I haven't skilled medical in lava pools, I didn't have the FAP required these days. But I have seen many todays well known avas doing it.

I plan on doing something similar to this, because I am on a budget and can't do much more. But my thinking was 50 dollars (equivelent to buying a game) at first then 20 dollars a month there after.

Subscribing and I hope you find 5 people in timezone to participate.

I think the 1st condition of same time zone should be relaxed. Reason being it would be good to factor in the time of play (eg, server load n the dynamics of loots distribution at different times) and see how the avatars perform at different time zones. Just a suggestion for consideration.

Why I do this

People cone and leave the game soon, because they don't understand it. Is a shame. EU is a great universe to be in. HAving more people in will make our universe better. I will have no direct benefit out of that, but I am sure we will all benefit from an active community. I like to help people when I can, and I do it any time is in my power.


Have I lost touch with reality?

I think not. I think I know what I am talking about, and making this experiment, will prove. If however I am wrong, I will see that soon enough and advice for changes. That is why I want to be on the same ventrilo server with the 5 people.

Having people in the same time zone.

I think is important to have them in a society because they will start about the same time, and I can be on ventrilo most times with them.
