I'm starting to think of my life after sweating.... (6k more of it to go it seems, but it seems that it might not take me as long to get this amount as it took to get the first 2k) so.....
how easy is it to get oil from that oil rig on the SE side of the map?. what are the problems in getting there?. how is the oil rig protected?. would it be easier to get oil out if it was a team of people? |

Not easy. what are the problems in getting there?. Mostly Troxes and pk:ers how is the oil rig protected?. read the above would it be easier to get oil out if it was a team of people?Certanly... Hmm or making friends, and it will help you stay alive longer. Thing is this: it's pvp, wich means you can get killed by other players. And beside that, there are big Atroxes and they like to eat newbies for breakfast. But be there alot and be nice and polite. The rig can be a pain to get to, lots of relatively strong mobs that will just eat younger players (like me). Once there you have to worry about other players because it is in the PvP area, although the last time I went everyone was just sitting around chatting rarther than wasting ammo on each other.
At that time people were using scripts to grab the oil very quickly so there was no point in an honest player like me being there as all the oil was collected before I even saw it. However, MA has implimented some changes which, apparently, make it harder for the scripts but I'm not sure how much those have changed things. My suggestion, go out there and have a look for yourself, I learnt alot about avoiding mobs and aggro ranges etc by making that long run from twin plus once there you can decide if it is worth ever doing it again. As for going in a group, well I don't really see how it would help and if alot of OJs turn up a stronger player may just be tempted to go for a quick and easy Pk global, just mho. |
