Etopia, coming to think, I get 1/4 only when running!
When walking, any direction, up or down hill, I get full heal... Maybe because my Agility is only 37 ![]() |

I havent chekked that since long time , but i think MA made it that way(really proportional to speed) when they changed avatar speed. I will try if i still get the 1/4 heal when i walk on flat. |

Wow, how did I miss all these responses?
Thanks for the update about fapping and speed, Etopia. It was actually one of your posts that clued me in to the fact that the fap decrease might be connected to ava speed. I did some tests and it seems you were right again. That's why I simply mentioned that you could lose as much as 75% fapping power. (My personal opinion is that losing any fapping power at all is bad.) Guess I should have been more specific about that issue, but I figured I was being verbose enough as is. And you're right, these are times when the move/fap routine might be useful, I just personally don't use it that often. Ah well. I knew I would miss some details. |

Little update.
My Agility is 37. Fapping and walking is OK (100%) until I walk downside a hill. Backwards, sidewise, etc... all OK. When i start fapping walking down a hill (a step-hill-but-not-so-step ) I get the message "fapping on bla bla bla..."![]() |

Your Fap guide looks very solid but seems to be missing one very important aspect for certain hunters:
Critical hits. When you hunt a mob you should take into account the max critical hit it can do to you. If your health is above this number, then it is possible to plan on staying alive for critical hits. This is VERY important in certain places. In certain scenarios, you should always try to stay above what I call the "Safe Crit-Range", which is the amount of health you need to survive a max damage critical hit. If you hunt in high volume hunting areas where there will be many people, chances are these people won't want you there just as much as you don't want them there. This is where staying alive for the duration of each mob becomes important. In places such as Crystal Palace where they are sometimes overcrowded, staying alive through critical hits will save you a lot of PED. For instance, lets say you have 175 health and you are taking on an Aurli Devastator, which can take around 10 ped or more to kill. Your armor may allow you to take many normal hits, but after many of these consecutive hits your health gradually wears down. With 175 HP if you are constantly taking 10 dmg hits from this Aurli (which attacks 2-3 times faster than normal mobs) you may be able to take a lot of hits before you need to fap. However, this mob can do critical hits that average from 70-150 (just an estimate). What this means is that with 175 HP, you have a "Safe Crit-Range" of 25HP, which means you can take 25 total damage before you are in danger of dying from a critcal hit. If the Aurli Devastator does 1 dmg, misses, 10 dmg, 5 dmg, misses, misses, 18 dmg, you are now out of your SCR and should fap if the risk at not being able to loot the mob outweighs the economy and extra decay you would lose from fapping. Your SCR may not be much in certain scenarios, but if you keep your health above this number you are guaranteed to live. Some factors that will make you want to be aware of your SCR: 1.) You are far from a revival terminal. It can be costly to TP back or run back to a mob you have damaged, especially since it regenerates and you have to spend extra time looking for the mob. 2.) The area you are hunting in is crowded. If you leave your mob just above half health many people will be drooling over the chance to kill your mob and loot it for half the cost. Not all people do this, but in high-competition places like CP, it isn't worth risking. In addition to this, people will become frustrated if your mob attacks them and they may drag it to a turret or drown it. 3.) You are team hunting. If you are hunting mobs that are hard for you and your teammate to solo, dying from a critical hit can throw your momentum out of balance and cause your members to spend more PED than they normally would have to. 4.) If multiple mobs are on you, beware of double and triple crits. It is rumored that the more dangerous of a situation you are in, the more likely you are to receive critical hits. From personal experience, I can tell you that with multiple Aurli on you at CP it isn't uncommon to receive back to back crits, or ones that are only a couple hits away. However, if you have multiple mobs on you and it is very hard to stay in your SCR, then you may want to consider letting the mobs kill you, since the decay you take on your armor, fap, and mob regen may cost more than it would to finish off the mob you are attacking. Dying isn't always a bad thing, and it can often save you PED. 5.) The type of mob. Obviously, certain mobs are much less dangerous and you may not want to have to worry about your SCR. I used Aurli in the example above because of the fact that they attack faster than other mobs and seem to give more critical hits. Managing your SCR is all about economy, and it is up to you to decide when you should and shouldn't worry about it. It would be a pitty to see that mega Aurli Queen ATH slip through your fingers to someone else all because you got sloppy and impatient. ![]() |

You are completely right about crits, Metatron. If you reread the part under "mid fap" you'll see I hinted at this issue, and I believe I was saying exactly what you were. I.E. stay above the max-crit level. Also I mention under the high fap section that of course you should use your high fap while hunting and are in danger of dying.
Crystal Palace, with it's fast hitting mobs, does make the concept of the mid fap a bit useless (unless you consider a fap-80 or ek-2350 as your mid fap) but hopefully you can see where this idea still holds merit in most hunting situations. I've used the multi-fap move quite successfully, however I admit I'm not hunting nearly at the level you are. Hopefully one day I will be. Please also take into account that I made this for the noob section. |
