My First Time on Entropia

I'm in the UK and ingame every day...and hate to see people messed about.
If you have problems finding a mentor I'll be happy to help you out either officially or not.

You don't say what profession you're interested in, but I hunt, mine and craft...and a little of the other stuff out of curiosity.

Oddly, I ended up at Chugs when I was a n00b too ..and got murdered there.

Good choice coming here..if it's useful it can be found on EF.

Your doing well so far. With mentors, never a good idea to just pickup anyone who asks to be one for you. Smart move coming to the forums so early on in the piece.

A very useful set of guides for new-comers on Entropia Directory :

In particular read the one about weapons that will save you money - basic, before you decide to go off and do any hunting. It will teach you about the SIB (Skill increase bonus) starting series for each weapon type.

They are probably the best starting references for EU other than these forums. Also under various sections here you can also learn the more detailed ins and outs on various things

Welcome to EU

I'd recommend considering finding a good Society as an alternative to a Mentor.

Experienced Soc mates can help lots, and Society life is one of the most underated aspects of EU.

Keep reading the guides and forums, remembers two things:

1. Treat people in the manner and way that you would expect to be treated.

2. If something looks too good to be true it probably is, refer to the Scam/Scammer Forum section...protect your Ped.

Welcome top EU mate. As others have said, a mentor isnt everything. If you are a decent player and a good person, help is never far away, just takes some time to gt to know some of the regular players. Im always willing to help active new players, wehter its hunting, tp runs, learning the user interface. Im usually on during your hours, feel free to say hello.

That mentor that you got should be kicked fast before you start gaining any skills.. If you get too experienced then you wont be able to get a new mentor which I guess you want to have?
I would gladly mentor someone with such a happy attitude against EU so fast, but I wont be able to play that late as I go to school aswell

Anyway I hope you enjoy your stay and dont forget to check out the best map out there for you to get all the TP's: CRT's Survival map of Eudoria (Sorry Sparkz but i find this map better than then JaxMap )
