The TT fap (vivoT1) is NOT a waste of time. You should use it at least until you have maxed its stats. To use it on yourself is the same as healing someone else except you just don't point it at anyone
![]() Seems you are getting on fine tho which is good to hear ![]() |

Societies are built into the game. When one is created the game allows you to chose your structure theme e.g. hunting, mining etc. Don't worry if you join a mining themed society you can still hunt the most important thing is the people. As part of the structure there are then ranks created and the leader can put his member as specific ranks. All you get for rank is bragging rights so again don't worry about it too much. I am always getting demoted for cheeky behaviour and general tom foolery. Like I say the most important thing is the People. How many ... hmmm lots. If you look in the society terminal you will see them all! You will also find two top 50 lists. One for 'number of members' and one for most skilled. Alot of members doesn't necessarily = good. Most skilled more likely does but you will struggle to get into one of these at this stage in your entropian existance. But there are plenty of good ones out there. Personal recommendation is best and spend some time with them first to get to know them before you join. From personal experience I can recommend the SaS Silent Assasains which was my first society - I would be happy to put you in touch. Finding out about them is more difficult. Word of mouth here and ingame will be well worth looking at and do make sure you spend a bit of time with them before joining ... try and join them on a society hunt for example. See if they are a good fit. Once you are in you can change. You simply leave. However, personally I think it is better putting in the time up front to make sure you don't have to society hop. Being in a good stable society with people you get on with is an important part of the game for a lot of people. How I explain the rabble I hang about with I will never know (sorry Nomads ;-)) A lot of people/societies use team speak on joint hunts so their communications/coordinations are good. Try and limit only switching societies if you out-grow yours, it out-grows you or something significant changes imo. Hope that helps ... I am sure Ozi will comment once he is back from the BBQ ;-) |

First of all, welcome to the addictive world of Entropia!
![]() I just wanted to give you a small tip on how u can earn some extra money apart from fruit and sweat. I dunno if it was mentioned in this thread (didnīt see it) but while youre out there getting tpīs you can also find different kinds of stones that are used for crafting. These sell for quite alot more then sweat/fruit but arenīt very easy to spot while running. They spawn on the ground the same way as fruit and the easiest way to find em is zoomed out in 3rd person view with overhead camera view while walking. Good luck ingame and when you get Fort Troy and if you see me there in one of the shopcontainers, holler and iīll help you out getting a tp or two if uīre up for it. ![]() |

![]() If you want to apply, you have to be at least 18 years old (no max age ofc) and kinda mature (but since I'm still in soc, so you may be crazy as hell, as long as your heart is in the right place ). Our goal is to have fun.btw, think this goes for most socs ingame that aren't skill oriented. btw, unlike in most RPG's you can play without being part of something, but if you are even just a tiny bit more social then a rock you'll be glad to part of one (assuming you chose a good one). Also, because you have more people in a soc, you will learn of your socies then of a mentor. I know I learned alot from my soc anyway (never had a mentor either; but I stopped tt'ing sweat after asked my socies what to do with it ).:| United Talents |:. link to forum and website on the blog, just if you or anyone else wants to know more about us. |

I'd like to say that I've found your beginning experiences very fun to read and refreshing! Your original mentor was a useless tool, glad to see you dumped him. If he checks one of his info screens regarding mentorship & disciples, he'll see that you're no longer a disciple...and I'm guessing he's lost many already, and probably doesn't even care.
You will encounter helpful people, nasty people, and semi-vets who like to look down their nose at n00bs, and say your <insert item here> is crap, your clothes are crap, your skills are crap, etc...don't pay any attention to those players. Don't be afraid to ask questions in public (as you said, "bothering" other players)...you'll be surprised to find that most veterans enjoy helping out newcomers who show actual interest in learning the game, it's such a refreshing change from all the beggars and spammers proliferating in-game. I personally love it when someone is asking questions about something, I'll be happy to share what I know, and more often than not, I'll give that person a freebie clothing item or PEDs or something. Hoping to get freebies isn't really bad, most vets get a little enjoyment out of surprising a newcomer with a gift, they get so excited about even the simplest things! However, ASKING for freebies is, at best, only going to get you the cold shoulder (and don't ask what it'll get you "at worst", haha!). Keep your stories coming, it's fun to read! |

Thanks for the welcome!
Hmmm interesting, I've read about collecting fruit and stones in Alice's guide but I've never had the faintest clue where to look for them. Will give you a shout if I ever dare to go anywhere near Troy again! ![]() Thanks Bob Quote:

Thanks mate, I think I do need to take a good proper look at some of these societies that have been suggested on the terminals. (By the way, I'm nearly double the age requirement so that shouldn't be a problem)!
