I got this a few days ago from someone outside EU I hadn't heard from for years, and I have a great deal of respect for them so I assumed that it wasn't some soppy viral email. Judge for yourselves. You're not stupid.

Thank you all for the help I have had here in E.F. since I started here in EU.
You can't possibly argue it made no difference ...so this is for everyone.

To be brutal....I would have binned this, had it not been sent from someone much older and much wiser than me, and someone who I once had the opportunity to help out in a very minor way that ...well that's half the reason I got it from her. Here in EF things are easy compared to the old days.. almost everyone is here to help and we tend to accept that...when did anyone think to +rep 711 or thank him for the ground we all walk on here for example? Where would we be without it ?

"Thank you" is a minor and important sentence, not a jail term to fear.
Well justified here in E.F. at least from me...you all helped me from day one.
