As for the people that voted they won't come here, its too bad...

Most portuguese people speak english, so communication isn't a problem, food is great and cheap, weather is generally awesome, and the girls are damn hot as well.

It's not because it is my country (or maybe it is) but Portugal is a great place for a meeting indeed. Ogi is the right person to organize it I'm sure, he has the "know how" and the right connections.

Some who went to London meeting were interested, and I believe much more will be when all is set up. We will keep this thread updated and will post all events and points of interest with links and pics soon.

Any suggestion will ofc be welcome, either from portuguese or "foreign" players.

From what I know, there are many players who chose "I wont go" that never went to a meeting, maybe this is a good way of changing your point of view guys! Don't just say NO without trying it first!

I think i can make it! So you can count with 2 persons at least. I have a reservation in algarve starting on 18 August, meaning I will drive on auto mode . About meals, is this for real? 6€ meals, i think you can only get it in "tascas", other than that, i don't see anything in the city since 10 years ago (of course i can go to the countryside and it for 5€ and that includes the wine). 10€ is the usual, 15 is really ok, but eating in the best places can easily go 20-35€ depending on the meal (seafood for example) and the amount/blend of wine you use to push your food in your gut .
Now about the night life, i'm sure we can easily stay awake partying, huh? What are the usual prices for the popular bars/nightclubs upthere? (i live south of porto, hence the "upthere")
Since i couldn't make it in London, bringing people here would be awesome. If anyone needs a lift from the airport, we could arranje to get u guys some sort of transportation. Of course that would only work BEFORE drinking anything .
