I'm a french player, and i'd like to improve my english by talking with more complex words than those we learn in school, while showing my french origin.
That's why i'd like to add more french vocabulary in my english (if that makes sense  ).So, what french words do you english/americans use? A few i think about : -Adieu -à gogo (in abundance) -à la ... -Bon apetit -Entrepreneur -Fiancé -Rendez-vous Edit : it seems i made a mistake in the title :P Last edited by ufcfl; 05-15-2008 at 19:29. |

Add "fiancé" to the list
 I know alot of English/Americans and they don't speak French, but they all know this sentence : Voulez vouz coucher avec moi?  (PS: that means "do you wanna sleep with me?") |

Hmm, let's see...
Aperitif Je ne sais quoi (possibly not used in the same way the French would?) Paramour Laissez-faire Cognac Champagne Contratemps Fracas Gateaux I think they're all French. The high proportion of alcohol-related words there probably says something about me  |
