If your going to be there in August you HAVE to visit the Edinburgh Fringe http://www.edfringe.com/ If you need a little break from the distilleries and the scenery for a few days then this is definitely for you, there's music, theatre, comedy etc etc all kinds of performance art. Its good craic and the atmosphere is awesome
