Its getting closer! Every summer when there is a Euro or World championship is exciting!

20 Years ago Holland became Europian champion in Germany beating Former Soviet Union 2-0 with star of the championship Marco van Basten, the country partied for days after winning the only big prize in its history. Now van Basten is national coach, Holland is in the heaviest group with World champion Italy and runner up of the same year France, not to forget the strong Romania. Every year Holland plays in a final championship we predict ourselves champions. Arrogance or just blind confidence? Who knows...We shall see who becomes Europian champion on the 29th of june after 4 weeks of exciting football! Goodluck to all the countries competing.

My prediction Final match: Germany - Holland, ofcourse Holland beating Germany

I'll be watching just about every game. I don't care much about professional club football these days but I still love the big international tournaments. I'm not bothered that England aren't in it, they didn't deserve to qualify. I'll be supporting the Czech Republic instead, on the basis that I have a cheap replica shirt which I picked up in Prague a few years back

Predictions? I don't think I'm informed enough about the teams and players to make a good call on that one, but I imagine the winners will be one of the usual bunch - Germany, Italy or France perhaps.

never tried rhino shit, sounds like some whacked out new age drug

anyway euro, i'll be watching. already have OSD (off-season disorder) so need some sport to keep me going

seeing as england has failed in spectacular style i'll be following another team, dunno who yet but atm i quite like


NL - great attacking, could be weak defensily tho
Portugal - teams getting a lil old but still has a load of quality
Croatia - look solid all rounders
Russia - have the best coach in the tournament
Germany - never write off the germans
Austria + Swiss - the host countries usualy have a nice lil run, so will be cool to see how they do

so how long untill football? 5 days i think.... lol this is worse than waiting for a vu to be completed lol

and just on a offtopic football thought, what are the best chants uve heard this season? my fav is
"its short, its wierd, its rafa's goatie beard"

and this one made me laugh (to the tune - Jackson 5's Blame it on the Boogie):
"Don't blame it on Henry, don't blame it on the injuries, don't blame it on the referees, blame it on Eboue!"
