If you break that tendon it never heals and you wont be able to stand on that feet without buckling, I doubt its that as it wouldnt explain the bridge of his foot beeing so thick.

More likely its a tendon on the top of his foot.

What an extremely bad idea... jogging

Don't you know that all sports are very dangerous? You might be injured or even die.

The only sporty thing I do is walking to my car

Good recovery m8 !

First of i want to ensure you all that snapping of a few " led band " is nothing
to worry about, when i was about 12 i was playing " king of the hill " on a
rather large hay stack outside an amusement park, nothing but asphalt around.
I was eventually pushed off and landed on my shoulder, went to the doctor
and he confirmed i broke a few "led bands". i tried a few golf sessions during my
injury and it was a bad idea.. doable but bad :P anyways, about 4 weeks later
i had healed and it was all totally fine.

But i agree, take care of your health and try not to play EU too often hehe..

Try Physiotherapy for 3-4 weeks, if that doesn't work then fuck that and get moving along, the only way to heal is to think and KNOW that you are feeling good and your leg is feeling good, just thing that while you try to walk It really is UP IN YOUR HEAD, the will to heal yourself

Ouch sorry to hear about your mishap. Hope you get better soon.

It may take a long time to heal if it ever does. I hyper extended my knee in High School and it still gives out on me from time to time. Last time it happened I bashed both my knees on the ground which trashed the cartilage as well. So now when I walk up stairs my knees sound like ball bearings clacking together or B-Bs in a bag lol.

Getting old sucks but there is nothing you can do about it. We are all destine to move on from this earth so you might as well do what makes you happy even if its playing EU.

ouch i know this pain all too well

I was drunk about 7 years ago and did something similar tomy left ankle.
Went black and blue, swelled up and couldnt put any weight on it.
I buggered most the ligaments on my left ankle.

Expect:
To be not properly walking for 12 weeks
For your muscles to start to compensate in 6 months

Just a FYI what to expect after:

1) you will easily roll onto the side fo your ankle on uneven surfaces
2) itll click
3) itll occasioanlly randomly ache
4) your buggered if u want to do any sports involving alot of running
5) as time goes on youll notice certian muscle try to compensate for the dodgy ankle and those muscle will occsioanly ache when doing anything overyl active.
6) its a lifetime thing now
