LOL the pictures shown are the canyon lands .. not the actual town itself, so yes it looks a bit bare. Seein as how it's the grand canyon .. it's the way it should be
The town itself is a cozy little hippy town with less than 8,000 people ... tiny but awesome. =) I dropped a bomb .. NRF

lol jk jk D - we did move about 18 months ago, from the city of Salt Lake into a northern suburb with 209348209348 cowboys & mormons. Every corner you turn leads to a farm and smells like cow pies.

When I say first time in 10 years, what I meant by that was first time in 10 years we're moving out of the greater Salt Lake city valley. Our new home is 4 hours away .. I hope I don't forget anything - it's not an easy trip back.

Gratz! It's really is beautiful out there! I lived is Colo. Sprgs. for a couple years in high school. That whole area of the country is awesome. I didn't know about the Jeep rally there. Might have to check that out sometime.

Awesome!!! We are going out towards that way in August (roadtrip!)...always gotta stop at the canyon. It's breath taking!
