Blizzard taking a cue from MA?

I know we are supposed to pretend other games don't exist, but I found this interesting..

Three (more?) years behind MindArk, Blizzard last week announced they are coming out with a goldcard type device to add security to your account.

EU was the first MMO I ever played seriously, and in all the ones I've started since I've always been surprised that none offered an extra level of security like MA does.

(btw the blizzard GC costs 65 peds *cough*)

Well, I am surprised that they all took so long to do this. A GC system is nothing new, banks and hgih security areas use it since I-don't-know-how-many-years, so I am still surprised that you can't even get one for your normal online banking...

I have a similar thing for my online bank, I think everyone in Sweden does.

it is good that they are taking that step. i think all gaming companies that are involved with the internet should do this.

For a RCE, it is critical. For any other MMORPG, it's kind of nice.
