Border Collie.
They are the smartest dogs in the world I think. There was one in national geographic, and she knew over 350 words I think... it's crazy.

Hobbes is super-smart aswell, sometimes too smart, next time I get a dog I think it will be a golden retriever or something... because I swear sometimes hobbes outsmarts me, or he plays tricks on me lol... kind of humiliating lol

i gotta say im an animal warden in rl and i pick up 350+ dogs a year
and it still breaks my heart every year that only about 40%get claimed

good old great britan animal lovers my ass
unfortunatley i cant beat the shite out of the bad owners
and we have crap anamil welfere laws here
but i do my best which is sod all
but rest assured i have to live with it

sry i feel so tired and frustrated as a dog warden i need to rant
i think im on edge of breakdown im so frustrated

i picked a "americian bull terrier"" whater tha"t is this week
obviously a breeding dog but he had had a cyst in his right eye that
had caused it to burst and the poor feker still never made a noise as me
and the vets had to pull his eye around
he had used up his usefullness and been discarded he was a tool
for making money ash.les
i gotta say moast of us british couldent look after ourselfs
and yet moast of us have dogs

you are doing a great thing Carl -saving animals that need you. I understand that you are angry about how some people treat animals, because I am as well. It would be a lot better is some people would never be allowed near an animal but sadly thats not gonna happen.
And the law sucks in cases of animal abuse in our country as well - you pay like some euros if someone reports you, but people don't even bother to do that.

Cheer up, all those animals that you saved are very thankful for that
