This year I've spent a couple of weeks each in Akumal, Mexico; San Francisco; Philadelphia; and New York City. Later this year looks like camping in the Olympic National Forest here in Washington state and then Grenada for Christmas and New Year's.
 Brought my laptop to all except Mexico. |

only have 8 days off this year (havent worked there long enough). so gonna take the first week of august off, just chilling, resting, doing some bike/horse rides and playing PE as usual. gonna save the other 3 days to go hunt with my dad this fall as usual. could take more with the hours i have in bank but i'll save those for a trip somewhere hot when i'm too sick of the snow this winter

Having two young boys means holidays have to be designed around them or it's just not worth going away
 So for me it was a week at Butlins Minehead - not really my cup of tea but I couldn't refuse the price, and a week in Cornwall. Hopefully I'll manage to grab another week in Cornwall later in the year but that will depend on the great British weather.Looking forward to being able to go abroad next year as the kids will be a bit older, but I really hate flying so I'll have to chip some courage IRL. |
