I'm going to be a Mixed Martial Arts fight promoter!

Can someone please tell me what to do? I don't know anything whatsoever about mixed martial arts and have no idea what I'm doing. If someone can just help me out then I'm sure I can make a lot of money.

If you are being serious I could offer some initial advice.
You could also read my blog that I haven't updated in a while but it will give you some solid information on things to consider before getting started.

At first play street fighter, then google what you´ve learned.

No. Question is, where to get your fighters and your know-how.

Mixed martial arts promoter sounds like a box-promoter for me, whos not just organizing boxing, but it all... Kick-boxing, KungFu, Karate whatsoever.

So get informed where to get your fighters. Look for martial arts schools in your area, advertise your promotion. What size will these events have? more like local or national events. Start small, grow in.

You are going to be a promoter, indicates that you already have an arena, cause it sounds like you didnt really choose the job freely. If i am wrong get an arena.

Do you just have to promote a single fighter, a bunch of fighters or the whole event? All 3 things are totally different tasks.

- For a single fighter you have to negotiate with other schools or promoters. Still you need a event promotion who does everything else.

- Here you not necessarily need to negotiate with other schools or promoters, but you need a staff of trainers, docotrs etc. Still you need to find a event promoter. Be aware that they spend loads of money to get an event started, so you really need to know what you do. Read, read, read ( and not only google stuff)
- You want to organize the whole event? all above included + you need to know a lot about PR and advertisement, know how to negotiate, know what ppl want to see, know insider information of all sorts. Now thats something i wouldnt start from day 1. You need an add-design-firm that makes advertisment-campaigns for you... and thousand things more.

Think about the medics! Thats really really important, get some doctors, massage-therapists, physio-therapists (or how you call that in english) and be nice to the fighters girlfriends. ( no no not that kind of nice if you like your chin how it is)

Start small, grow in or you might get problems quickly that you cant handle and you cant google a solution for.
Just hang around in your new working environment and keep your eyes and ears open. Talk with ppl. and let them decide how important you are, never do this on your own.

i´d like to say 1k things more, cause i did a lot of event promotion and advertisement, but you have to gather the know-how on your own.

2 more things:

the turnover must always be higher than your expenses!

quite surprised you have to pay to air the programme, id have thought the TV company would pay you for the content. surely they get money from advertising? or do they see it as your program is an advert for your events? question though, how much do you charge in such a venue?
