Believing in something doesn't make it real. Man believes what he wants to believe. That's what i meant when i quoted Prokhor Zakharov (who is, by the way, a fictional character from the game "Alpha Centauri" )
Religion always was, and always will be, a way to explain things that you do not know the actual scientific explanation to

Earth was created created from remains of the cloud that gave birth to our sun. How was they supposed to know that in the dark age? and why wouldn't they wonder about it?
Of course a tree that falls in the forrest makes a sound, even if no one is around to hear. if you don't believe me, set up a mic and wait

Edit; Demons doesn't exist whether you believe in them or not

You can't know that. You can't prove the non-existance. Just as well as you can't prove the existance. You don't know. The only people who will know are those with first hand knowledge, if there are any. Of course, people are so quick to be skeptical of anything that might throw of the balance of their beliefs in anyway.

And you can't just set up a mic to test for the sound in the woods, because then there is something there representing someone. You can't just set up a mic in hell to try and find demons either

But maybe this girl was possesed by a polterguister playing with her? who knows? nobody becouse religion did kill her..

The fact that i can't prove their existance makes it more likely that they doesn't exist, than my inability to disprove their existance makes it likely that they do
You can claim that the easterbunny created the universe, and i can't prove you wrong, but it's still highly unlikely that it did

why shouldn't a tree that falls in the forrest make a sound? it's branches will splinter and crack at the impact, and virations in the air it creates is... sound
Give me one good reason why it shouldn't behave as when someone is around

Well it is well known that the easter bunny is a fictious character. It was a commercial icon created for the holidays. Nobody supports the possibility that it is real. But when you have arguments that span thousands of years, with documented events and strange happenings that cannot be explained by scientific facts... it leads quite a ways away from the Easter bunny.

I agree but just to discuss here...
You were earlier talking about how the people in the "dark ages" possibly couldnt have known that the earth came from a explotion.. So in that case, since they couldnt prove it:

And it isnt that long ago that thinking the world was circulating around the sun and not the other way around, was a crazy thought. Offcourse it couldnt be like that, science said otherwise!

We are all the time finding more and more things that we can explain with science. Things that BEFORE can have been experienced as paranormal. For example that "burning bush" that I talked about earlier. Now it can be explained by underground coal-fires.

And the easterbunny IS the ruler of the universe!

To me, god is just as fictional as the easter bunny (about which there are "documents" too, albeit not as old)
People have argued for the existance of god for thousands of years, and used him as an excuse for their actions, but they have yet to proove his existance. Strange happenings happens all the time in fiction. That's what makes it interresting

Oh science said the earth was circulating around the sun since ancient greece. Later on they burned scientists and called them heretics, though

And the people in the Dark Age couldn't prove their theory about god creating the earth to be right... and they 'were' wrong

Yeah now explain that he doesn't exsist with science!
However i do feel sorry for the poor easter bunny having to lay all those eggs... ouchy!

There is quite often a scienctific explaination for everything, whther it is right or not is another story, while I was in school they rewrote science text books alot. One of the topics I can remember was what the core of the earth is made out of, was it solid rock, or solid iron or molten chocolate?
