How many keyboards you wear out in a year?
I go thru three a year, they just dont make em like they used to.
My newest one got today is a keyboard elite with 22 hot keys plus spill resistant.
It seems to be a nice keyboard really soft to the touch the keys work really good allows for fast typing not that i can type but very nice.

At a guess, about 0.1/year.

This one is 5+ years in my possession, and was given to me free, as the last owner had filled it with cola, and it would not work.
I took it to bits, cleaned it, put it back together, and it's still going strong.

Perhaps you need to put the hammer away, and hit the keys with your fingers?

If you're wearing the letters off the keys, buy a pot of clear nail-varnish, and paint over the letters before you start to use the KB for the fist time. works wonders.

well my problem is I eat next to mine and allway's spill stuff on them and they quit working after awhile.
My last spill was this morning's coffee, that killed it.
but i like the nail polish idea i might try that, if my keyboard makes it three month's the keys do wear out.

I can type faster then i can talk... i'm teaching myself to be able to use 2 keyboards on 2 different computers at the same time. my friends think it is nuts.
but back on topic... Ive worn out my laptop keyboard 3 times now within the 3 years ive owned it. My problem is keys wearing out and stop working or falling off.

Ive used this keyboard for about 2 years.
But i break approx 6-10 headsets a year, mainly bcuz i throw them off carelessly
whenever i go afk ^^.

I don't even know how long I've had this keyboard. Probably 4-6 years. I got it with my computer. It's nothing special. It just has the normal keys, no hot keys, but I really don't need them.

Queen, just try not to spill stuff on your keyboard. I eat next to mine all the time but never spill on it... well I shouldn't say never. GL not breaking this one.

To go through that many keyboards, you must just about use your keyboard as a plate

If you are, maybe you should consider buying a set of crokery they arnt that exspensive, much cheeper than a new keyboard every 4 months (unless you buy cheap ass keyboards and exspensive bling bling crockery :P)

I use a Logitech G15 Keyboard, and i must admit it is by far the best keyboard i have every used, though i have only had it for a little over 6 months so far, and it replace a keyboard that still works fine, but i wanted a shinier keyboard .

I have one keyboard on the desktop and one on the keyboard tray underneath and use one to game and the other to browse EF, PE-Wiki and our ChicagosHardcoreGamers website at the same time.

The keyboards aren't wearing as fast as the mice are for me (clicking too much crafting/shooting ! )
