I saw this with my bf 2 weeks ago or so, I couldn't watch it past the first 30 minutes, extremely powerful....

I'll try again another time, I just sent this to all my co workers and friends... I hope everyone else does as well.

Haven't seen it, Don't know what it's about, and from the reviews I've seen here I don't want to.

I already have enough issues in my life weighing me down, I don't need yet another burden pushing me closer to the edge of the bridge, ThankYouVeryMuch.

Good on ya for making it available though. Hope it somehow makes the world a better place.

Ive not seen it yet, I will soon....

I think i get the idea of what its about & yes I new alot of it & most of us just see blind & only see the colourful advertising & words & forget to read between the lines or look at what were messing up & harming - same goes for the planet - wow get in that wonderful car & help to kill the planet.

One point I was thinking was, do people know what Monkeys & Gorillas do from time to time to other Monkeys & Gorillas children to make sure there Genes bloome.

They kill & eat them - were all crazy animals. They also think that from time to time some Monkeys need to eat meat - due to a poor year of food supply.

Will watch the movie very soon.

The trigger that made us into killing machines, much more than any other animal out there, was our intelligence! When our intelligence emerged and it combined with our consciousness, forget about it, the killing spree begun!

We haven't slowed down one bit, on the contrary, we're gaining momentum. We're pretty much killing anything that "slightly" tastes good. I mean, come on... we're even eating Blowfishes where if it isn't cooked properly it can poison you!

We're the bully on this planet because of our intelligence, but one thing that we take for granted is that there is a higher intelligence out there. Earth. Whenever Earth doesn't want us here, we're dead, simple as that.

Don't need to watch/haven't watched it and I can tell you what its about.

I use to do some work for the largest chicken barn in Canada. There was cages for as far as you can see and the majority of the time its pitch black in the rooms that store the chickens.

The cages are 4 tiers high and each pen is about 2 ft wide and 2 ft deep, and holds about 8 chickens.

The chickens at the time of moving are practically fleshy skeletons which you pound open the snap shut door and grab about 3-6 legs, one of each chicken, and rip them out of the cages and then throw them onto a conveyor belt which then moves them about 100-150 feet onto a second which raises them into the air and drops them into a grinder which destroys them in less then half a second and then the guts are augured up and dumped into the back of a truck which goes off to be processed for dog food and fertilizer.

The movie wont be about just chickens but animals as a whole anything from insects to humans, right?

Well most of the world can't use that excuse... Sure, If your out in the woods and stuck and are starving, you have to kill to eat. Hard to survive on berys or what ever. There are plenty of good foods out there, that dont use meat. Although the film Isn't full about that. Its more about the "discrimnation" towards animals. It puts across the main point; We are ALL earthilings. Albeit they have less Intelligence, but they are us, a few million years ago. We have taken control of everything on the planet. Their bodies work the same. Pain; emotions; needs ect... To make the connection between us and other animals, you need to see what our "emotions" actually are. They are basic bodily needs. Nearly everything that makes you feel something has a reason, not just because we have a high intelligence & we can. Our needs are as basic as any animal, but slightly more complex in the way they affect us. There Is no coincidence that being happy Is good for your body, It is your natural way to encourage healthy behaviour, by giving good emotions. Someone will say "Chocolate". Well thats the same, except Its just a man made way of manipulating these thoughts. The main reason for life is to live a fullfilling one. This makes you happy. This in turn Is the environment for perfect development of our species.

What Im getting at Is that its no different from anything else on the planet, just at a higher stage. Its for the reasons above I believe animals have emotions. If an animal/human felt nothing when doing something bad for the body, then they would not have any desire to stop, or change what they are doing. They keep us on the correct path to evolution.

Emotions aren't signs of intelligence, but signs of basic life and instinct.

I know alot of people reading are saying "God, not another hippy". but Im far from It. Although I do challange anyone to watch this film, THEN disagree. Otherwise dont bother

I'm a Animals lover (I just can't kill a bug) and it was very hard to look.

I'm not sure what will happen the next time I'll see meat in my dinner plate, if it happen again.

Now I think I'll eat only Veg. and wear myself with maple leaf.
