I was trying to formulate a description of this movie to encourage those who think this is just (yet another, as they'd say) tree-hugger documentary and don't want to watch it, to do watch it. But I simply cannot. Not because it is indeed such kind of documentary but because there is so much to be said. I'll try to break it all down into this: You are wrong. It is worth watching every second of it.

I tried for about 3 hours trying to convince someone from work to watch It today (I work along side people all day). But he of course assumed It was another mind-manipulating half-fact documentry. I even offered him £10 to watch...

I think this will loose alot of potential viewers, who think Its a hippy animal loving thing. Whereas really Its more deep than that, as it shows us really where our place is in the world.

I couldnt go on.. after about 5 mins.

Makes me a hypocrite as a meateater/human etc I guess.

We suck.. OR.. the 1st 5 mins made me feel that way.

Well in a sense yes, but not in the way other people have tried before.

Its very hard to explain. But you learn alot here. I went through quite a mad "journey" in my mind when I watched it. Not like watching random horrible images and film...

I do understand where you are coming from, but, I feel misinformed, as I wasnt able to get a final conclusion from not watching the entire thing.

I will say this though, which maybe supports the vadility of the film, regarding humans, I am far more prepared to watch a human die, than that of a pig.

Do not judge me though, I am a carnivore.. but not a cannibal.

I do not plan on eating the killed human, so am not revulsed, maybe saddened at the cruelty and misjustice.

I believe I am revulsed by the pig slaughter.. because I condone it by eating bacon.

Its guilt maybe.

It doesn't intend to show exactly how vile we are. I think it's more towards the selfish and disrespectful direction. For those who think it's made to brain-wash people into becoming veggies, I think that's not the intention, but rather make people aware of how some human activities (not all involved with the food market) are extremely cruel and unncessary. Eating meat should be ok since it's basically in our nature to do so, but only as long as it wasn't obtained through cruel means. There are other movies, obviously made by vegetarians to brain-wash others into vegetarianism, that try to engross the viewer by showing the process in which the animal's carcass is turned into that package of meat you see in the supermarket's shelves, but this video doesn't, especially since it's not about that. If the process to turning an animal into a meat package is gross or not, doesn't really matter, what matters is if that animal had decent living-conditions while it lived and was sacrificed in a painless way.

Like I said earlier, there is so much that could be said about it. I guess the whole message of the video could be translated into: "Put yourself in their position". Nothing more, nothing less.

I finally watched the entire film with my husband last night. It's very touching movie. I don't understand how man can be so cruel to another living thing. It is a tradegy that these men beating these animals were not more educated. I can only imagine them going home afterwork and bringing that violence to his family and kids, and his kids may grow up with the same feelings towards animals. it's truely sad. I would be interested in helping put a stop to this inhuman treatment to animals. First i will give up ever purchasing Leather or Furs (expecially from India). Since a young age i refuse to eat any kind of pork product. Pork, Ham, Bacon = PIG.

I hope more will also watch the film.

The first time I saw it, I couldnt get past the first 20-30 minutes...
Today I saw it again, trust me, you should watch it in its entirely...

But I know what you mean, Ignorance is Bliss!! Sadly, we (as humans) like to live in denial, but the first path to understanding is awareness (the same way horses have blinders just so they can see straight ahead only, is the same way people live their daily lives and helps them cope with themselves)

We as fellow animals have a right to hunt / eat just like any other animal in this world, and its not something we can afford not to do. ( It’s the way Nature intended it to be)

( Keep in mind our fake society forces us to have to get our food threw Farms, slaughter houses , markets ,stores in stead of being forced to hunt/ gather food in the wild, and yes that would included being in the food chain where we would be hunted too.)

Human beings are predators so its in our nature and our right to have to survive , just like all animals in nature.

With that said, I have seen some disgusting cruel things in this film that makes me very sick at the state of where mankind is going, and I really think we don’t deserve the right to walk / exist in this place we call Earth!

We threat other animals and the environment like shit, we over populate this world that is so beautiful and so unique. We take so much area away from other equal animals with our big cities, its not fair! Mankind is out of control!

Like I said I understand our rights to have to eat, its part of nature, but the ways in which it is done is so wrong, and I see no reason for any animal to have to be in captivity (Zoos, circus, slaughter houses ) to have to entertain us.


Maybe our only saving grace is that life will eventually need us to bring life to other planets because eventually the earth will die, Maybe that is the only reason the Earth has tolerated us for so long, but I hope that we which is supposed to be the future of life, don’t wind up being its end!

In closing we need to threat animals as we would wanted to be treated ourselves; especially when it comes to death.
