My dream armour, and I could have had it Guy sold it 2 days after I bought shadow a while back - I ended up selling the shadow but no way I woulda sold PoE.

Price now? I hate to think about it.

125, 80,90,100,175/150, 80, so rare don't bother/parts undiscovered- rarer than sentinel i think (sentinel you will not find for <300)

Often times yes, but far less so when the last pair of Shadow gloves sold on auction ages ago for something like 6-7K. Placing a value on the nice high end items these days is problematic to say the least. It can be argued that it never has been due to the ratio of TT price to selling price always being marked up due to some degree of unquantified community perception. Presently however this class of gear no longer reflects what the community as a whole appreciates its monetary worthiness to be, but instead merely what the last individual buyer did. Even though I thought we were approaching dutch tulips valuations awhile back, with drops of these beauties rarer than new hummer showrooms in days of $118 oil, I think we head further off the charts from here going forward. I still would love to know if MA sees this as positive or dangerous for the game's future ??

First part: yes - but then you cross check the growth in price of the rare part that sold XX years ago with another part sold then. There are auction histories available here on EF to research. They at least give an estimate on the demad for such items.

2nd part:
If you hadn't checked, there are (L) armors with better stats than shadow that decay less(after m/u), and cost almost nothing to make. Who needs shadow?

MA know what they are doing. Just look how much fairer they made the game by introducing (L) weapons + faps - and the faps was what? a year ago?

It's certainly "wants" more than "needs" for most, but whatever the case it still is most sought after, even at these out of sight prices, and even with (L) alternatives being around long enough to establish themselves as the more sensible alternative. I think there's only 5 sets of POE in the game, I'm not sure if they have ever been on auction or have any market data.
But you can find the owners and ask them, I guess. I read a list of them in a post on EF (search is yer friend) but the only one I recall is ND.
