I wonder what would be a fair price on Improved Genesis Excavator? Almost best one in game...

Ahhh imp exca... The last truly superuber item that didnt inflate like hell :p

Last sales i know of is around 10k (besides one that was mistakenly placed in auction for 3k or so iirc, effectively screwing up the ingame graph since very few sold through there) but that was a while ago...
It has been "around" 10k for a very long time now, although ive seen more people looking than selling lately, so might be going upwards.
Considering what the other highend gear ingame sells for thats very cheap, especially considering how much you actually save using it (both time and decaymoney (and not getting carpal i guess on top...)).

An example: Found a 3500ish ped Zinc deposit a few weeks ago:
Time to pull up with imp exca? 48 mins
Cost to pull up with imp exca? 5.25ped decay

Not gonna say what i think it should be worth since id be accused of trying to push the price up... (no not selling mine btw), but you sure as hell save alot on "using" alone in a very short time if youre a dedicated miner (not to mention less decay/ammo used from charging mobs if claim is in a hostile area etc), so its an incredibly nice tool to get if youre gonna mine alot (especially if you use amps), and dont want to spend half youre time pulling claims.

I think the reason this item lacks hyper-inflation is because dedicated miners tend to be more prudent/practical, and this is not a show off item like a weapon or armor. You can't spam chat with it and it's not much use for looking cool.

I agree + you forgot to mention the SIB bonus until level 20 ish (so good skills also)

indeed lovely tool, saved me loads of decay and well time, think its five times less decay than a om-105 after efficiancy is counted. I think the ingame market info says +11k or something for the last one sold at auction. Bought mine for 8.5k.

Might be right. The funny bit is that this is an item that is 100% guaranteed to save you alot of money :p Looking @ hunting more or less only the uber faps have that "quality" of saving like XXpeds/day that would be used nmw if you had used a "normal" fap (hope that made sense, not sure how to write it differently).
I wouldnt call that "practical" though, more the opposite... (Atleast if you define "practical" the same way as i do: doing what you usually do faster and cheaper without any bad sideeffects).

Regardless the point was that @current price (around the 10-11k mark that seems to be where its at atm) its one hell of a buy compared to what you get for 10k ingame in terms of other items. Also as Sbi says if you keep your lvl just under 20 its incredibly cheap skills to sell because of the SIB while still pulling crap outta the ground fast and @virtually 0 cost
