i2870

There are several people looking for one of these fantastic handguns at the moment. So what do we think one is worth? Or more to the point, what are these people willing to pay?

I would start with what I know the last sale to be.

Well - personally I now own an HL8 - and the dmg on that is awesome, plus I hardly ever miss. Miss rate would be 6% or something if trusting the tests.

Now with I2870 miss rate would be 16% or such, and that would reduce the dmg/pec greatly.

Awesome gun, no question about that - but the dmg/pec (in my case at 2.78 vs HL8 at 2.89) reduce the price, then to increase the price is the dmg/sec where with A105 it would deal 55.7 dmg/sec compared to HL8 44.2 dmg/sec

What a buyer would be buying then would be the dmg/sec and not the dmg/pec and to brag about owning an i2870 - brag doesnt hold a real value anyway, so ...

To make this short - if I had the peds and didnt know what to do with it - I'd buy an i2870 only for taking LARGE mobs down with it. And with decent evade and HP you will kill less mobs and take more decay with HL8 and gain less general evade skills with i2870.

Taking into consideration that my skillgain in evade / paramedic will increase I wouldnt pay more than maybe 20-30k more for an i2870 compared to HL8, which mean :

TT+65k to TT+75k

Sorry for the highjacking the thread a bit... but are there three HL8s ingame? Know one that owns one, one for sell.. and you got one also?

On topic: I have to agree with Thebuzz also, about 65-75k would be a good price for this weapon, would try to get one myself if my skills would allow it ^^

There are at least 5 UL HL8 in game, maybe more.

It was fun a week or two ago when I discovered that there were 3 UL HL8 at the same time in dome 2 burning away (Jenny, Dan Jagiello and myself)...

There 3 now for sure and my guess is more... Baxter had one, The Atami couple and i remeber another post but don't remember the name. I know that Major rage uses one and buzz...

Actually if you use lasers and sights, which according to their descriptions improves your HA. You will at lvl 70dmg and hit have a average dmg/pec of 2.88 and average 57,8 dmg/s assuming you have a a105.

The skills wills also come ~30 % faster with i2870 then HL8 thanks to higher dmg/s

Thebuzz there are enough people who have more skills to use it properly. Seeing that many high markup stuff drops off big mobs, and some of the mobs have high regeneration, dam/sec is very important.
Seeing that imk2 goes for 225k which has the same dam/sec but more eco, mm goes for ~230k with same eco but more dam/sec, I think maybe 100k would not be weird.

That would be the extreme top end I think. I know there are folks out there willing to pay 80K.

Anybody else got any ideas?

i love your post . i'm a i2870 owner and i love this baby. only for a trade for a mm i selling this awesome toy. dmg/sec are great to hunt most mobs ingame. eco is great. when you have the chance to buy a i2870. catch it!!!
