for 9400 HG Skill, entropiatools estimates a 2067.86 TT worth of ESI is needed to produce 1861.07 TT HG chip.

I suspect you would get at least 2200% for it, so atleast 37k, less the cost of the ESIs needed.

Sounds about right with your figures. You need a 2050ish ped ESI (yes yes i know this size isnt available), you lose 10% in the process which will produce a 1800ish chip.

yes yes...
but what I wanted to know is, I calced the esi size to 2058 on pe-wiki.

some one elese calced it to be esi tt 2067.

So what I wanted to know are there different calcs to calc your skills with??
What are the correct one? and arent all calcs based on the same data/math??

Well i think thats mainly because it does get fuzzy at those high points due to the fact there arent too many to collect data from. The places i know with TT value/skill info are:

Im pretty sure they all have roughly the same numbers, but as i said it does get fuzzy up there. Some site might be working with 80% of the data collected to make a calculation, compared to another site. But a diffrence of 10 ped TT isnt really a big deal at those kinds of levels. If someones ready to buy the whole thing im pretty sure they wont shrug at the thought of paying another 200 peds

The Entropia Tools numbers are based off of WikiTools numbers, so between those two, i'd expect the WikiTools value to be closest; i spent a great deal of time trying to get a good fit function. Jdegre's calculation might be just as good or better because he had the same data and came up with his own approximation function.
