Me too, however it's also laser. ML is one of the few relatively economical (both in price and dmg/pec) higher-end BLP rifles, but there are more of those in laser.

I'd say a more accurate figure for this gun these days is closer to 30k maybe even 35k to the right buyer, someone that wants to hunt robots or medium mobs.
You can take down the vast majority of troopers/warriors with this gun before they get in range of you.

ML is also more useful in PK.

I really doubt this would be valued 50% above an ML-35, but stranger things have happened.

iff can be used ampless, as its base eco is incredible (closest anybody can get to imkII in the normal weapons game), so even if amped with 204, its eco doesn't improve that much. has to be said that a bigger investment is needed with iff for amps.
ML needs amping to improve eco considerably.

iff + Boom AAC = 108 burn dmg.
ML35 + Bull tac 80 = 104 pene dmg

for pk, personaly i would go for iff, because it has the higher "base" dmg. in the scenarios these guns would be used for, dmg/sec isn't important, what is more important in this day and age is getting a shot through the armour, and since iff has a higher dmg, it has more chance of delivering. could be argued that the trade-off is worth the 8 more shots/min rather than 4 extra hp, but ultimately it depends on the buyers taste. me personally, theres too much ducking and diving in pk for the 8 extra shots to be really noticable but meh. buyer's choice.

it is worth noting, that if you really wanted to pk seriously, you would use neither of these guns (against armours of above vigi) because with the new (L), both have been rendered useless, as there are superior (L) pk weapons that require much much less skill to use, that can tear through eon more easily than these can through vigi.

that in mind, these are hunting weapons. no doubt about it, ML has more dmg/sec, so it can be used for bigger mobs. but, with unnaturaly high eco, iff can be excellent for sensible eco hunting (if there is such a thing any more after the regen nerfs, but i personally think there still is), so as long as you pick your mob carefully, cost to kill can still be tiny.

summery: even though they don't look it, i think ml35 and iff are toys to be used for completely different scenarios, so its "silly" to compare them. against other weapons of the same dmg/sec, iff wins. stupid eco comes with stupid price. its no imkII, but surely it has to be admitted that its a distant relative.

won't mention my opinion on price, just throwing a lot of points in the ring for people to consider.

funny thing with the numbers being thrown around here, not very long ago (this year iirc) one sat in auction for 15k BO for days without a sniff.

as for valuing above a ML35, the few % better eco has to be balanced out by the 30% higher dmg/sec.

Well, used this gun for a bit with just a 105 on it.

And I must say that it surely its the best tagger around for anyone that hunts with laser mostly, or is skilled in both.

Im not all that skilled and i still did very well with this rifle specially on trox, and on mobs I would drop to 60-70% hp before them coming in range of hg.

This used to be a awesome pvp weapon, its not anymore but still a good asset for pvp unless your up against higher skilled players imo.

Now some numbers and recent sales that I know of.

I know one was sold for 25k end last year, this was way to much at that time so shame on the buyer(you know who you are

I know one was traded for a ML35 not all that long ago, (3-4 months orso).

And I know 1 sat on auc for a while with no bids, but that could be that noone was looking at that time.

As for it possition in the current economy I would say A little less then the overvalued(imo) ml35 at 25k But certainly above 20k so 22-23k would be a safe bet I think.

one was sold recently on auction for 24k. i know it's buyer, so i can confirm that this is what he paid.

i had the ancient for a time, this ain't 190 range but it's a pretty sweet tagger. gl if you're still considering selling.
