Assassin R150

Mice, I think anybody actually interested in hunting long hours would gladly swap a mod117, a RJ or a i2870 for an unlimited Assassin (and yes, I've been hunting a lot with all of these). At least 2 out of 3 of the above have recently been selling well above the 100k mark. Therefore, even though the Assassin would probably not sell now for 160k as the first one did, I still value it well above 100k.

Yea thx for the input. The first sale is always the most pricy one. If anyone wanna give it a try (for collateral ofc) or have some trade offers, im listening, although I havnt yet decided what I want to do. Its a grinder for stuff like small scips, ambus, itacha trox, CP dome 1 etc etc

I'm a fan of old-skool UL weps. If I had to make a choice between the Mod117 and the Assassin, I'd be hard pressed, even though logic dictates that I take the Assassin. At my level, it has significantly better eco, and does more dmg/sec, only range is still on the Mod117's side.
But I still would have a real hard time making up my mind.

I currently use a 147ME/Beast as my main hunting weapon. On paper, it has horrible eco compared to an Apis or M35. In practice, I do better with it than I have ever done before, skillwise and lootwise. Dunno how or why. So with that experience in mind, I probably would still go for the Mod117, even though the Assassin is a dream to own as well.
And having a gun maxed is a great feeling as well.

Back on-topic: I would say the Assassin should be roughly in the Mod117's price range, which I think still hovers around the 80k mark. Ironically, it's worth more to players with less than uber skills, at level 80 their eco is just about equal, and range and speed becomes the deciding factor.

Too bad I'm still about 15 years away from that.

why? I do, already many years. why others do not? you probably mean 10/10 or close guys? well, if you are maxed already, you can afford to take a risk of using lower eco but higher dps guns I on the other hand use only mod117+dante and all I can say is, it is worth it, even if far from 10/10.

now to the second part of the quote. ML35 or v1 being better. come on

and now about the price on it. 80k was posted somewhere here. well, it's very simple to put a price tag on it. in similar dps and eco level we have i2870 and those go beyond 100k nowadays. as mod117 still has a big advantage of range over it we can add ++ to the price of i2870. moreover, there is NO good alternative in the eco+dps+range. all those being better than mod117 go for 200k+, that's it.

mhm, assassin is a close indicator. but! I somehow feel many would prefer the chance of getting better and better on old school gun which has more eco in it for the future

yes, people desperately want more dps but fun comes with a rather big loss of eco and range. who can afford it with old school stuff, go on. who can afford 250% markup or higher, if you please. but old school 4.2x+ eco beyond pro level 50 still beats all 150%++++ markup L and that matters a lot.

mice and udi. I am sure that many hated big losses on mod117 back in the good days, but back then having ok eco on bigger dps meant a chance of looting good stuff from bigger mobs. today it's different, valuable UL stuff drops from much easier mobs (little troxes or ambus is a good example). I will eat my opalo, if today you will have same big minuses with mod117 if you go on those

P.S. forgot that it was meant as a pricecheck of R150. well, somewhere around 100k if you ask me. 100-130k probably.

CB26 is kinda close and som have been sold , there is som assassin that did drop , and lattelly many salle of imp2870 took place...
So , imho , assassin is down to something around 100k to 120k.

What's with all the mod stark bashing? I luv mine Hasn't been a ped sink for me, and I plan on keeping it for a very long time to come.

As for price on assassin, it's a great gun but I think the price atm is dictated as much by peoples confidence in the system as it is by the quality of the gun.

I'd hate to buy a gun for 150k only to find out in a years time it's selling for 100k, and I believe more and more people are thinking the same thing.

When it comes to high-end gear im a UL purist, although I don't have the skills to back that up IMHO I wouldn't value the R150 at more than a 100k ped. However, no less than 75k either.

Anywho, my take on it would be that this gun should fetch 120-140k. I will let you know my reasoning for it.

Currently the market is over-saturated with all the recent UL gun drops. A few months back people were screaming like baby-birds for these kind of weaponry. But as a, what i believe to be stimulation to kill the hyper-inflation, result of alot of guns droping, all these mouths have now been fed... thus you see people knocking alot of money off these guns currently to be able to get a sale through. Today youd probably have a problem trying to move this gun for more than 120k, but when the market again comes around and people once again have money to spend, after alot of big transactions taking place, this gun will again be well sought after and again proudly carry a big pricetag.

Unless they continue dropping at the current rate (see Slither's post above). And now two dropped in the same loot. Probably not going to happen much, but it gives pause.

The unL SIB weapons continue to drop disproportionately to the number of new accounts. There's only so much money in game, more supply means lower prices. For that reason I'd be hesitant to buy any higher end unL SIB weapon now.

On the other hand, the Mod 117 and all high end unl weapons will never drop again, or at most be once a year teasers.
