I would like an up to date marketvalue on this. I know 2 have dropped in fairly short time, latest was in Nexias uber ATH yesterday. That doesnt change the stats on it though, so I want your honest opinion on its value, thx.

ok hmm, i consider myself well versed in blp, ive been a staunch blp'er since i could afford my 1st one 2 yrs ago.
the (L) version of this fine toy is akin to the as-129
this un(L) version you speak of, of which there are now , what 4?
is still a very rare toy.
in my humble opinion, id put it at +150k
if more than 2 or 3 more drop it might go lower....

i could be totally off base here, lol im sure someone will disagree with me but thats my honest personal opinon.

Not sure if I'd be any good at this but I'll give it a go with my thoughts.

The first thing I want to compare it to seems to be the Jungle Stalker. With Dante it's slightly less in dmg/sec and a lot less range. It's max dmg is also a lot less wich means it can't be amped with evil and isn't a good pvp weapon.

Looking at it as the hunting weapon it is then I would next look at the 147ME and adj97 of wich both have better range but are lacking in dmg by comparison. The beauty of all blp hunting weapons I hope to get would next be the Mod Stark. The Mod Stark clearly out classes this in stats but lacks the 10/10 advantage acheived early.

Going by pure stats, without taking the 10/10 into consideration, I would place it between the current market for the adj97 and Jungle. Adding the 10/10 bonus on top will clearly add a considerable bump to that though, pushing it above the Jungle without doubt. Just how far above I can't guess. I would expect however for the price to still fall short of the Mod Stark.

Sorry I couldn't help with numbers. They seem to be changing rather fast these days. Those are my thoughts on it though and I would be interested to see the outcome of a sale myself. Good luck if you plan on selling.

I think I read somewhere that this is worth a bit over tt+100k ...mostly due to the rarety

Weapons such as the R150 are not as rare as you may think. People will not get the asking price they currently want for them.

So, going on others valuations, I'm happy to do a straight trade for my Adj-97.

Maybe so in many peoples opinion, but mod stark has 1 thing to its advantage..the prefix modified. This is probably one of the most overrated weapons ingame. it looks great on paper, 4.34 eco with dante, but why doesnt anyone hunting seriously use it ? Every rifle using blp hunter I know prefer DOAs.

Its really sad cause I would love mod 117 to be the top notch BLP carbine, but IMO an ML35 or an adj v1 is far superior, the stats on paper is just stats on paper, in reality it sucks bigtime, ask people using it alot with high BLP skills like Dr Udi how he likes it. I owned it 3 times and always sold it due to pedcard disasters. Well this aint a flame the modstar thread ( although I just made it one ), keep on discussing

I would agree with that myself. Infact I would prefer a DOA to most any other BLP weapon due to the dmg/sec. For range though you need something else. I would only place it below the cost of a Mod Stark because the dmg/sec and range of assasin fall short considerably. To do any good with a Mod Stark you would need superior skills. People used to tell me how bad the 147ME was because of ped card disasters too. I hunted religously with it though amped with cause and did very well. The problem with the high decay rifles like the Stark's is that you need to have a large ped balance to roll over. That aside though, you can't compare DOA's and ranged rifles at all. Anyone going BLP is gonna want to have a DOA first and foremost. I still stick to what I posted above. An assasin would be far better an option for anyone without KS for sure. In the long run though, I would rather have my money invested in a Mod Stark because the stats are better. The early 10/10 advantage is eventually lost for anyone dedicated enough to stick around till they max natural weapons.

yeah owned a mod stark twice ( or is it 3 times ?) and its a wonderful toy but man u loose ped fast with it. I'm a moron and will prolly buy one again some day only to see ped card decay once again. Im having trouble loosing ped with R150 though must be some kind of a bug since its ONLY 4.0 eco did anyone say 10/10?

True, but this is almost impossible to do without massive chipping. Even unlocking killstrike w/o chipping is something few or no one has done yet.
